Creatures don't always respawn in Subnautica Below Zero. After a while your world starts looking barren and lonely. This mod makes it so all creatures will respawn after dying or being caught (ex: fish). The game assigns respawn values by default so it'll just use them. From my testing it seems like small fish respawn every 5 minutes, medium fish every 7 minutes, and the really large creatures around 20 minutes or so. Idk about everything else. This mod won't respawn creatures that have already been killed before installing this mod
In version 1.0.2 you are now able to prevent Leviathans from respawning. There is a settings file that lets you chose whether or not Leviathans respawn. It is located in your "SubnauticaZero/QMods/Respawning_Creatures" folder. Edit "settings.json" as a text file
Why should I use it
You should use this mod if you don't want to run out of fishies to kill/eat, or if you'd like the underwater world to look more alive. This mod is especially useful for crafting mods because you can have custom materials from creatures, without depleting them all
Future Plans
• Add settings to prevent Leviathans from respawning
• Respawn creatures that died before installing the mod
