what would be the line of code to make seamonkey spawns drop to zero? These things are constantly picking up my light markers that help me identify visually where my thumpers are.
It's definitely squidshark, and squidshark_lilypads. Work perfectly fine in my game. Maybe you need to re-install it completely like someone else here had to in order to get it to work.
It should be whatever's in the settings generator. I generated it with the same code that's used to determine if the creature should be deleted, so if it's not working using settings from the settings generator, then it's probably not the settings.
I asked because I am using original subnautica version of this mod, and I am not sure if for Below zero QMM is still used or if it is replaced by BepinEx
The Below Zero version of this mod has not been modified from the original QMM build. If you have questions on the original Subnautica mod, not the Below Zero mod, then it would be best to ask your question in that forum. The original Subnautica mod was rewritten for BepinEx.
Hey! Did the mods work for you? I have tried uninstalling my game and reinstalling after downloading the mods, but I guess they really don't work with bepinex
@Miguel7834, I think it's called SpikeyTrap or at least it is described this way in TechTypes... btw fauna means wildlife as in animals, fish, etc... just saying...
Same, it seems it cannot be disabled. I assume the game doesn't label it as a creature so it can't be despawned like other creatures. Damn, I was hoping to get rid of this annoying feature too.
In the code, it's a behavior, not a creature, so it doesn't have a kill method or anything fun like that. They got a little funky with the fauna of this game.
I Don't see a thing to remove the Ice Worm Leviathan in this mod. Is it not counted as a creature or something? and if its unsupported is there a way I can get rid of them?
I honestly don't think you can despawn it. You can how ever turn off it's hunt mode with the console. A simple Google search will guide you to enable the console so you can type out commands.
There is no way to remove the Ice Worm Leviathan. It isn't considered a creature in the game code, so you can't use the creature killing logic used for the rest of the creatures. I could have made it so that it activated the cheat for removing the Ice Worm Leviathan, but I didn't think there was a way to clearly communicate that that could disable achievements, so I opted not to.
Thank you for the mod. It's because of these mods that I can even play Subnautica/BZ. I just can't play without it, too much thalassophobia induced anxiety.
It was hard to find though. Maybe for easier googling, add a reference/keywords for 'passive, pacifism, peaceful, thalassophobia'? In Subnautica base game, the mods are called 'Passive Reapers' etc...
They probably mean Subnautica, not Subnautica: Below Zero. In any case, the reason I'm not doing that is because it's not really a passive/peaceful mod. It doesn't modify creature AI, and you don't have to remove only the aggressive creatures. You could, for instance, remove all friendly/passive creatures.
I tried to install this mod and I did I made it so that ALL ghost leviathans reaper leviathans sea dragon leviathans do not spawn and did it exactly the way it says to do. Then when I load Subnautica it says that the mod Manage Creature Spawns was not loaded and I do not know what went wrong sense I am very new to using mods that require you to change the in game stuff instead of just installed the mod and having it do all the work. Could somebody please help me figure out what I did wrong/ If I did do something wrong and how to fix it.
This is the Subnautica: Below Zero version of the mod. I believe those creatures are Subnautica creatures. If you want to prevent spawning in Subnautica, you need the original Subnautica mod, which can be found here. The two mods are not interchangeable, so you can't use the Below Zero mod for Subnautica. If that's not the issue, you can create a bug report here, or if the other mod also does not work, you can create a bug report for that mod, and I will do my best to get this resolved for you. I hope this helps!

Edit: The wiki says it's considered fauna so maybe it's like the ice worm idk.
