if i downlaod the mod its a rar data if i change it to zip data it invalid but in the description it say drag the name.ZIP data in subnauticazero folder but it deosnt work cause its invalid pls help
when i download this, the .rar file is empty. i dont know what im supposed to do. other shaders that download as a .zip file work perfectly but half of these shaders are .rar and they do not work.
i cant get that green effect you have in some of the screenshots. how can i get that. also something called grainspread.fx fails to compile. do i need it for the green effects? night is also bright.
I was hoping for something a bit less invasive! I just wanted the night time and deep areas to be consequently dark, but the UI was hard to look at and even what should be well lit rooms like a base were dark, over-textured, and hard to look at.
To each their own! I can definitely see the attempt at a horror game aesthetic and I actually think that was nicely conveyed. Thank you for putting in the time and effort to make mods. =)
Yeah I second this, deffinitely looks amazing if not a bit jarring in some places. I wished it was customizable in some ways or that there was some lite version inbetween vanilla and the current mod looks, tbh.
I'm thinking we just need like realistic lighting. That should be horrifying enough. Everything else untouched. The deeper you go, obviously should be near darkness, but whatever glows should glow and illuminate. Whatever illuminates, maybe spread the radius just a little more. No?
I think "TheIcebergs Lightweight Shader" is the closest without being drastic, just missing the darkness maybe.
This Shader wont work for me and I don't know why because I followed the instructions on the description but it wont show up on re shade menu in subnautica bz
The description states to drag "TheShoresShader.ini" into the specified folder, but the download page only downloads a "TheDepthsBZ.ini" file. Are these the same thing, or am I missing something?
I am not sure if it is supposed to make everything really washed out to the point of being black and white, but that is the effect I am getting. Am I doing something wrong or is there a way to add a bit of color back in? Otherwise I like the darkness.
edit: Disabling Technicolor and Technicolor 2, both Clarities, FilmicTonemap, and one of the Filmic Anamorphic Sharpen did the trick.
