    Where is the installer exe for Qmods?? I can't follow instructions because there's no installer for it...

    For some reason this mod looks terrible now.  I played it not that long ago (maybe 4 months ago) and it looked great.  But now I'm getting this weird trailing effect on the HUD, the fish and even the menu screen when I move the controller cursor up and down to select a menu.

    All my hardware is the same as it was (high end PC) and everything is up to date, including the game and this mod.

    Any ideas out there as to what would cause this?

    how do you get the controls to work?  The movement and such work ( like picking things up ) but I can't use anthing- I've tried every button. Just screen shot and jump seem to work. Let me know

      motion and vr controller support has not been added yet so for now you have to use keyboard/mouse or controller

      what do you mean? almost everything works! I can walk, swim, open doors, pick stuff up, drop stuff, jump, craft stuff.... but I can't open up de PDA and I can't eat or drink. That's so weird! it's like they forgot to assign the button for the PDA or something

    Current issues I have found (using an HTC Vive Pro):
    1. all hud elements are centered on the screen for me ( like this ) unless I set hud separation to Large, and adjust distance to about 4. But that completely removes all hud info on the left side, rendering me unable to ever see my O2 level, health, temperature, blueprints I pick up etc. I've tried every single setting, and nothing fixes it. So I have to play without this vital info. I just played through the first Subnautica in VR with the VR enhancements mod, and everything was perfect there except not being able to rename beacons.

    2. every single time I start the game, I have to use the batch file, or Steam will just whine about no VR mode found and attempt to launch in VR desktop mode. Furthermore, I have to exit SteamVR every time before I execute the batch file, or it will do the same thing.

    3. like others have said, some settings are locked at 999, and with those sliders in the middle, indicating they are at 50% - but testing shows they're really at 100, so that's no big deal.

    That said, this game was a complete and total snoozefest, until I installed this mod. Now it feels like Subnautica again (just with a really crummy map, boring Leviathans and no Cyclops). Still, was worth the money when I can experience it in VR.

    I have a newly installed system, an Oculus Quest 2 via Airlink and just bought Below Zero from Epic store (the Epic store version of the first Subnautica had no problems in VR). I have tried to run the game in two different ways:
    steamvr mode:
    everything looks ok, I can adjust the hud, pda, ... so it's almost good except the fabricator. It has a huge UI in front of me. I can see the icons behind but it's just not great, should be a bug. Also all of the VR settings are on level 999. If I change the value, then it's in normal range, save the settings, I can see the difference (for example in hud distance), going back to the settings and it's 999 again! What the heck?
    oculus mode:
    the game starts straight in VR, don't have to run steam VR from oculus menu, but the main menu is rotated 90 degrees, so I can only see a vertical line. If I go a bit sideways I can see the menu buttons but they are messed up.

    Anyone else have the same problem? Should I refund it and grab the steam version?

      Ok, after struggling with the VR settings a lot I decided to refund the game and waiting a bit more for this VR mod. These would be the most important fixes:
      - the setting are not saved properly. I had to set every time I start the game the scales and offsets again and again
      - I had to lower the HUD scale in order to see the indicators, but at the same time the compass is in the middle of the screen
      - gaze cursor is not working. If it's off, it still causing trouble in the main menu. When it's on (and that's how I used the first Subnautica), it's not working properly, I can't controll the fabricator for example.

    Unfortunately this mod seems to just not work at all. I followed the exact steps on the Notion webpage then tried the downgrader. Neither worked. I tried installing different versions of Qmod manager and the vr mod as well as reinstalling the game several times and nothing worked. I tried Qmod version 4.4.4 and a 4.4.4.1 version that was said to be compatible in the comments of the Nexus page. I tried the 2.0.0 and 2.0.1 versions of the VR mod. I tried all combinations of these versions. 
    I'm using an Oculus Quest 2. When installing the mod there is no oculusVR.bat, only a steamVR and nonVR option, perhaps this is related to the oculus VR not working. When starting the game using the SteamVR.bat the game will start without any VR functionality - there's no immersion, no tracking of the head movement and the game can only be viewed when clicking the view desktop option in the Oculus Rift hub. Music does play from the headset but only very faintly and is delayed from music being played on the computer. Qmod options are available in the mods section of the options menu, however there is nothing related to the VR mod. I suspect there may be compatibility issues with new versions of Qmod and the VR mod.

    Any recommendations to fix this or info as to why this is happening would greatly appreciated - I'd love to play this mod!

      Just start it from SteamVR.
      But it has some major issues (see my comments below), so I just refunded the game and waiting for a proper mod.

    HUD Spacing

    Hi, is there anyway to further reduce HUD element spacing. I have it set to small but elements are still quite spaced out and unless I set the distance really far the oxygen monitor etc is out of my field of vision. It could do with brining in on the Y axis a bit on my system.

    Still the mod does not work after update. I made clean install of Subnautica BZ and after launching the mod I see just ocean and black banner behind my back, but no main menu.

      Same boat here. Just get the epilepsy warning black box and can't do anything else.

      The Qmods from Nexus does not work with the What the Dock update, you need qmods 4.4.4.1 from this link https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/578635702984507393/1019595074113376278/QModManager_BZ_Stable_4.4.4.1.zip
