In the year 2024, the standard O2 tank last around 6 hours. So it's ridiculous that a pressurised tank in late 22nd century only lasts half a minute. On that, this mod is good.

However, air pumps and pipes don't refill the tank. This completely breaks death run as you rely on air pumps. And if you run out the of air, the pipes only refill your 45s breath, not even 100s. Realistically, you'd stick the pipe in the tank to to pressurise O2. Or just any air into the tank at all.

The goal of the mod is not to make it realistic, but to give a different experience. One way or another, the air must run out, otherwise it will be no different from no air mode.

      I  agree, for both view,
It really could synergyze well with DRun on hardcore, the only cheese is surfacepump not having energy cost, but will not be that game breaking considering the oxycost it take to build a 200m pipeline XD
Anyways Great Mod luv'it how it's is for vanilla and  never play without! Thus for DR/harcore could be cewl to have an option maybe an half cap or slower refill rate on pipes or something?

This mod is great. Thank for your work...

Is there a possibility to have the bottle equipped and only to activate by push a button (like opening / closing a valve)?
That would open up 6 slots in the inventory.

Is this possible with Subnautica engine / mechanic?

See, what could be done here is that you have more oxygen, but it takes just as long to refill as you were diving. Say you dove for two minutes, it would take two minutes to refill, unless you swapped tanks.

Good mod, works fine. It's really just a bit overpowered, though. Planting another crafting station isn't that hard and this basically gets rid of a large part of the oxygen economy. With this mod, you can explore areas that really ought to be way too deep for your game progression. Cool otherwise, though.

refill option not showing :( can help? i'm using these mods:

There is no refill option (anymore, sadly).  You just go near any fabricator and the tank (that you've equipped) gets filled, using up electricity.

Great mod, much more immersive for some scuba cave diving.

    Cheers!

Got around to trying some mods. First, the mod works as said with no issues. With that, though,. I can't recommend cause it just takes away the challenge of the game. You can stay underwater for it seems like eternity. Again. thumbs up for working flawless. Thumbs down for fun.

Try using it with the death-run mod. one life, no surfacing, and the difficulty ramped up then it makes alot of sense and alot of fun. It's like they were made for each other.

Real normal diving tanks last 45 to 60 minutes. (2700 to 3600 seconds)

Having an air tank that only lasts .5 minutes in a futuristic setting where traveling between habitable planets is possible is what is immersion breaking!

No but good try. Doesn't match with context of other logic in the game. Sorry. Next.

"It takes away the challenge".  The?  No, just one.  And not even that really, since with the normal tanks, you can just jump into your seamoth, while with these, you do have to go to the next base with a fabricator.  Pretty big difference.   And really, even if it takes away *this* challenge completely,  it leaves a ton of challenges still.

And not everyone thinks that part is "fun".  You do… well, masochists exist.  I'm not kink-shaming here.

Looking forward to Soon™ playing this with 2.0, given that SMLHelper has been turned into a BepInEx plugin.  ;-)

EDIT: YAY!  :D  Thanks for the update!

You need to disable the mod, the vanilla behavior of the game is just like you wrote.
