For me, this isn´t working correctly; I´m just not sure yet if it is THIS mod... I do get the additional slot rows in the inventory when equipping a bag from this mod, however, I don´t ever get to the point to fill them up, because when the inventory is filled to a certain point (with still several rows of empty spaces left!), every newly added item just "overwrites" an already existing item which just vanishes... For example, during playtesting I was standing at the fabricator (with Bag III equipped), had several items crafted and (using Defabrictor-Mod) some others recycled/taken apart. At that point I was already wondering several times about missing an item that I was sure I had it crafted just moments before. Then I did a test of a cave sulfur crafting recipe, which worked - I had the cave sulfur in the inventory (somewhere in between, not at last position)... Directly afterwards I crafted some other item - and found that the cave sulfur has dirctly been replaced by that new item (simply because the sulfur was the preceeding item, I guess?....)!
It could be that the problem is not directly because of this mod, but rather an incompatibility with another one. However, so far I have only a handful of other mods (on a freshly installed Subnautica) which I currently (and carefully) playtest, and the only ones that might have to do with inventory apart from "Bag Equipment" (and maybe Tweaks&Fixes) are: Defabricator, CustomCraft 3 (Purple Ed.) plus some recipe files for it, Bulk Crafting, Advanced Inventory (required for this mod to work though...), and Pickupable Storage Enhanced. If anything, I´d suppose it´s one of the latter two which might be the culprit, or just incompatible with Bag Equipment; however, it might also be just Bag Equipment itself... Everything else is working just fine... BTW I do NOT have SMLHelper installed of course [EDIT: which indeed might be the problem; see below], which is also NOT included in this mod file (only since some guys mentioned it below...).
I wonder how this works for other people?... Take note that it seemed to work for me at first glance - the extra rows are there... But you´d better have an eye on your stuff!...
EDIT: This seems to be a bit complicated anyway: This mod requires Advanced Inventory (take note of the stickied post in the comment section there!...), which itself has "Customized Storage" as requirement, which itself in turn needs SMLHelper - which isn´t compatible with nautilus anymore since a long time... This is also (apparently) still true for the newer version of Customized Storage, which has been updated for BepInEx, but still depends on SMLHelper (which still was compatible with early versions of Nautilus, but not anymore...); it can be found here: https://submodica.xyz/mods/sn1/163 So, that´s quite the extensive chain of requirements here as it seems, part of which is no longer compatible...
Shame - I like the idea of this mod... I´ll have to stick with Pickupable Storage Enhanced then (with Decoration mod to be able to craft carry-alls)...
So, is this mod usable or? Because partial compatibility is non-compatibility, no? I have this mod installed and the bag inventory slot appears for me below the gloves, however the bags are non-existent.
Do you also have the requirement (Advanced Inventory) installed? Only that will give you the additional rows in the inventory, plus a scroll bar so that you can get to see and - if this was working - access these lower rows. Up to that point it works for me anyway - I can craft the bag, I can draw it over to the glove-slot, and so the extra rows appear.... But as said, Advanced Inventory has requirements itself (Customized Storage), which I did NOT install (well, hence no wonder that it doesn´t work for me...), because both available versions of "Customized Storage" seem to require SMLHelper - which certainly is not compatible anymore with Nautilus.. So yeah, I´m still not totally sure if I´m missing something, but as of now it seems this is indeed no longer compatible - because some of the requirements are no longer compatible... Would like to read about some different experience with this...
from what I've read, it seems customized storage is required for extra slots to be usable. I found a working link in the posts over there that seems like it works with Bepin and Nautilus. https://www.mediafire.com/file/m2cp51rnnq3c0wl/RamunesCustomizedStorage.zip/file Install is pretty much the same as any other Bepin mod. Seems like it creates a .json in the bepin config after launching and then exiting the game after install.
I haven't tested if it works in game yet, but it shows up in the mods menu with a whole bunch of sliders, so that's promising. Hope this helps.
if you want more space than the MK3 gives, then you're better off just modding your own inventory, rather than using a mod that's meant to be vanilla-friendly
For some reason when I made the bag, it just wouldn't want to equip it no matter what I pressed, and out of tech support reflex I just saved, quit the game, and reopened my last save file... It worked. I could put it on. Sometimes you just gotta turn it off, and turn it back on again XD
