can someone help me please i try to use the mk2 storage upgrades in slots 1-4 and it doesnt work so i used the storage access mod to force open it and it has no storage slots at all
Unfortunately it seems like the author of this mod has abandoned it. There is a major problem when using this mod and docked vehicle storage mod; where the new storage modules on a seamoth are inaccessible ( in fact, the new storage modules are inaccessible even outside that mod when the seamoth is outside the moonpool).
I had to remove this mod, as the docked vehicle storage mod is much more valuable during my gameplay. Shame, because I really liked this mod. Instead, I use the custom size mod to upgraded the standard storage modules.
In vanilla game each storage module on Seamoth is a separate 16 slot (4x4) container (you can see them appear on the actual vehicle and interact with them). Prawn is different since it has only one container which capacity is enchanced by every module instead on adding more containers like in Seamoth: basic - 6x4 = 24 slots 1 module - 6x5 = 30 slots ... 4 modules - 6x8 = 48 slots True the moth benefits much more (posible 4 containers 80 slots each = 320 total slots) but imo 80 total slots with just one module instead of 48 slots with 4 modules on Prawn is quite nice change too.
Hello. I'm using both Slot Extender (customized to only add 4 additional slots for a total of 8) and Better Vehicle Storage. Twice now in the last two days, when I have tried to either install or remove one of the MK II Storage Modules (vanilla storage module + the MKII Upgrade) in the Sea Moth, the game has crashed. Specifically it freezes. Music still plays and I hear other sounds but the the screen and all controls freeze. When I click around the screen goes white and I'm given the option by Windows to either wait for the app to respond or close the application which kills the game completely and dumps me back out to Steam. I don't know which mod is causing the problem or if its a conflict between the two so I am posting this in both mod forums. I am leaning towards this mod only because I have been able to install or remove vanilla modules with no problems so far whereas the game crashed twice changing out storage modules. If you need debug logs just please let me know how to collect them. If you have any questions let me know. I am running Windows 10 version 1909.
I've read about the requirement to only install Storage Modules in Slots 1-4 unless you run the mod to eliminate that. I am not running that mod, and for the moment, only using two storage modules so I have been installing them in Slot 1 and 2.
Update, playing further I realized that I was using the mouse to drag and drop modules. The Decorator mod changes batteries and such so that you have to either use the mouse or disable that feature when needed so I got into the habit of using the mouse. I went back to using the controller (I play with an xbox controller) and at first the issue didn't re-occur. Unfortunately, later in the play through I went to remove the Depth Module (Vanilla MK I) and the game froze again, even just using the "A" button on the controller. So while, I was previously leaning toward the bug being with this mod, because the game had only frozen when either removing or installing Storage Modules, it seems more likely its Slot Extender or some other incompatibility. since it has now occurred with just a Vanilla Depth Module. Still any help narrowing the problem would be appreciated.

I still experience this bug while using v1.0.3.
