I created, in my opinion, a better version of this called "Better Fast Craft": https://www.nexusmods.com/subnautica/mods/503 It lets you specify a crafting modifier in the options and it is also possible to go below the default threshold of 2.7, set by the game.
Maybe you should check it out.
