This shader is awesome! Also, thanks for making it install everything it needs Reshade-wise, I didn't know it could be done this way.
This makes everything darker without changing visuals much (talking about thedepths). While the depths is good in its own right, this is exactly what I was looking for to start another hardcore play-through. Makes it that much more challenging along with realistic craft cost, refill tanks, etc. Amazing job!
P.S. I noticed a lot of the (if not all) cyclops mods (adding new modules and stuff) seem to not be on the nexus anymore, it's a shame. Do you know anything about that?
I am not the smartest person when it comes to modding a game.
But when I install your mod Vortex said this to me: Vortex is designed to install mods form archives but this doesn't look like one. Do you want to create a mod containing just this file?
Once you install it into any folder you want, click the .exe and follow the instructions. Pick the folder your Subnautica.exe is in (steamapps/common/subnautica), select yes if asked. Follow the rest of the instructions if there are any more, and once you're done click finish.
I tested a few of the other shader mods but they change the styling of the game too much for my taste. This mod keeps the original coloring while making dark areas actually dark. Adds a lot of atmosphere to an already atmospheric game!
For those not sure how to install:
Download the file.
Run .exe file.
Select your Subnautica directory to install into.
Launch game.
Toggle off/on with F10.
If you're having issues getting this mod working, try removing any previous shader files/directories from your Subnautica directory as they could be conflicting.

Still pops up saying SweetFX enabled when pressing F10 and not sure if its this mods colors or prior ones..
or is that what pops up when enabling the Shader?

When I say create mod, nothing happens.
Am I doing something wrong?

Should be installed properly now!

The mod is active but I can't deactivate it to see the difference.
Saying this
