need an update of this. how are so many mods i used to use neglected or forgot about etc.? so many great mods out there. could we get an update of this?

dll fix worked but there's another issue. whenever i type two words each in their own row using "enter" to separate them they revert to side by side next time game loads up. only way to make them stay each in their own row is to use "space" to create empty spacing long enough so that the next word goes to the lower row. not sure if that's the intent of the mod or not, but is there a fix for that?

Maybe I wasn't clear. What do you call "my fix"? The new LongLockerNames.dll or my SignColorFix? That's two different things.
You need to replace the old LongLockerNames.dll with the new one in your Qmods/LongLockerNames folder. And, if you want, you can also use my SignColorFix mod to fix another vanilla problem (when you change color and size of a sign, color is reset after reloading the game).
And to answer your question, you don't need to do something specific. Use the normal round button to access the color panel. You also don't need to start a new game.
Randy pleeeeaaasse fix this mod! it won't work nowadays and there aren't any alternate mods that do what this one does. longer names for my storage or not, having colors to pick from would be so awesome!

Not a fix but a workaround: Building Tweaks allows you to bypass building restrictions (for example to build something in wall, to build interior item outside or vice versa, to deconstruct base pieces with other thing attached to them etc). So you can just place standard labels on (almost) everything including lockers.
@RandyKnapp - Hi, sadly as many others have pointed out already in the comments and bug report section the mod doesn't work since the last game update. It allows you to change the names and colors but it doesn't save, once the save game is loaded once or twice it just reverts every locker back to default color and short name. It just isn't saving for some reason.
Just wanted to mention it in case you weren't aware. On the other hand, if you're no long support/update this mod, could you let us know on the description or comments and maybe someone else could have a run at fixing the saving issue.

I managed to solve the reload problem of this mod.
You can replace the old dll with mine.
You can also download my mod SignColorFix which fixes the vanilla color/size problem with signs.

..but does so in a really weird way, making many other mods appear to be the cause - remove 'em, and it works again..
..however remove THIS and all the other mods seems to get on fine..!
