Hovering over the display panel on nuclear reactors shows remaining % of charge until the current rod is consumed, the number of spare rods as well as the total power left in all currently inserted rods.
A slider in the mod menu lets you change the amount of power contained in each rod. The settings go from 2000 to 200000, vanilla default is 20000.
The mod can be safely added and removed from existing savegames, however going from higher charge settings back to vanilla might have your reactors use up your rods to make up for the already used power difference.
The mod should be compatible with any mod that doesn't change nuclear rod charge settings or adds different rods.
