I followed your mod page instructions to the best of my ability.
Earlier I tried Dropping the terrainpatcher zip file in to Vortex. It seemed to install but didn't show a version number. When I started a game I found an island but it didn't have anything on it: plants, buildings, etc., nor did I have a beacon for it.
I did a Vortex report and it said:

I then unzipped the terrain patcher zip file and copied the TerrainPatcher folder to the BepinEx plugins folder.
Should Terrain Patcher show up in Vortex? It does not!
After I unzipped the terrain patcher and moved it to the BepinEx plugin folder and logged in the island was gone. I started a new game but don't see the island nor the beacon. I would appreciate any guidance/help.
p.s. I have the Subnautica+ (Bepinex) mod collection by Rasbury installed
I installed Mod Structure Helper and logged in. There wasn't anything called Between Earth and Water!
I did go back and check in Vortex and found the Between Earth and Water mod was out of date. I updated it and now when I log in I can see an island but it is barren of anything. I also don't have the beacon in my list.
I´m sorry, I really forgot to write it down in the instructions. Dont use Vortex. Just drag and drop all the files in the folders. Then it will work 100%. Sorry for that mistake. Have not thought of this.
And no, the terrain Patcher dont show up in vortex, because it is seperatly installed. You just drag and drop those files in the right folder, then leave it there. Never touch it again :)
I think for my next mod, I will make a short video of how my folder structure looks and what you have to do exactly. Normally its easy to install, but sometimes you get confused if you dont do this everyday. I try my best to explain it better next time.
tell me if it work, when you dont use vortex please. If not, I try to help you further
In Vortex I have Nautilus and Tobey's BepInEx for Subnautica installed.
In C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Subnautica\BepInEx\plugins I have Between Earth and Water - Subnautica NEWest VERSION, BuildingTweaks, CustomBatteries, CustomItems, EpicStructureLoader, Nautilus, TerrainExtender, Tobey, and vortex.deployment.bepinex-plugin.json.
I started a new game and I still don't have the beacon
p.s. I accidently put Between Earth and Water - Subnautica NEWest VERSION in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Subnautica. It won't let me delete it (even after putting a copy in the plugins folder. Windows says the folder or a file in it is open in another program.

I dont know if I understand you correctly... you copied my whole folder "Between earth and water" into the Plugins folder?
If yes, then thats not right. If you open my folder, then you will see the path which you must follow in your Subnautica Main folder. All the structure files have to go to another folder than the optoctreepatch files.
Ok... I have uninstalled Subnautica and deleted the game folder. I have reinstalled Subnautica and await your response on how to proceed. This time I will not use Vortex.

no you dont need a permission from me. what exactly isnt loading? did you do every single step as I described it? did you use the old version (you need to)? what doesnt work?
This mod is beautiful! Has everything I could want in a base. Unfortunately, all the water in the world keeps turning off. The water will be on inside the base area, I'll leave in the Seamoth through the bay, head into the mushroom forest, leave the Seamoth and fall straight to the ocean floor. As far as I can tell, everything is loading correctly. Any ideas?
Edit: Ok, so long as I take the Seamoth in and out through the bottom of the base, everything works great.
thank you. nice that you like the mod. and yes, all this was concidered while testing. thatswhy I build all the entrances. the only way that you can have this problem is when you do it this way: - be in earth mode (walking) on top of the island - your seamoth is next to you - you leave the base on the top of the island through those little gaps in the island --- then you are still in earth (walking) mode
you have to leave the base with your seamoth on the bottom (hole) or the seamoth dock. I build for every entrance mechanics, that will switch your mode automaticly while on foot or in a vehicle.
if you dont go through that gaps, this can normally not happen.
If you leave throug the bay, then use the right gate. left is bad :)
I hope I could help. otherwise send me a video of the problem from the beginning, then I can look for problems my friend
and secondly, there is a gate, next to the entrance of the seamothbay, but on the island, not outside. this switches you from Earth to water mode and water to earth. It depends which way you enter the gate.
Thank you so much. I thought that most envoirement mods dont fullfill even a small purpose besides meterials collecting.
I wanted to have a purpose. So I added the possibillaty to Start a New game (ghost cheat, fly to the island) in this base and are able to survive on the Island (food). to gain the bluepronts you have to risk much. but at the end you can build with everything that you have a nice home at the end, little more realistic with a dock for the cyclops where you have to walk through the bay first.
The mining gives you the opportunity that you dont have to leave the base and do mining instead.
