[edit] nm... im just blind AN dumb with my glasses off... [facepalm] Found the install instructions.
I would recommend mod developer add the install notes for the files to the main mod page. As I didnt think to check for the install info on the download notes.
Can some please tell me how unlock the recipe for Crystalline Sulfur. It seems to require crushed or ground up copper but I have no idea how to make that. Thanks.
Not sure, either? both? Whatever lets me craft crystalline sulfur I guess. Organic Titanium? Do you mean Alchemical titanium in basic alchemy, yes I have unlocked that. Is there a guide or wiki for this somewhere?
Edit: Ok thanks, I figured it out with your help. I made organic titanium which unlocked copper, made copper, which unlocked sulfur crystals which was last thing I needed. Thanks! Cheers!
So I've spent a good deal of time playing and have been doing minor workarounds to the recipes in the files to fix my issues I've encountered but I wanted to post them here because there seem to be too many that no one is talking about so I want to either bring them t your attention or if someone out there knows what I'm doing wrong that'd be helpful too.
1. The translation package only applies to like 70% of the recipes, I downloaded every package (including the Np++ grouping language), and made sure to overwrite files with the translation pack at the end. However, when I did this it removed all the 'optional recipes' content. So I gave the files from the optional pack the final file priority and it brought the recipes back, but in French again. 2. Unlocking alchemic titanium requirement makes no sense. After installing the 'easier' tech path for reaching alchemic and subsequently organic titanium, the building blocks of like 80% of the recipes, I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to unlock it from materials available pre-500m depth. I did some digging, and noticed that the unlock requirement in the mod files is to have acquired organic titanium, which is not possible without having crafted it as the mod does not add any natural spawns of the material to my knowledge therefore, impossible to unlock. 3. The white tablet from optional content has a paradoxical nature. While digging in the files, I found that ion order to unlock the recipe for the white tablet, you need to have one in your inventory, but no such tablet seems to exist in-world, which makes sense as it was cut-content form vanilla originally. Furthermore, going into creative unlocks every single recipe from the mods EXCEPT the white tablet. I had to go in and remove the white tablet from the blue and orange tablets recipes because it was progression-locking my survival save. 4. The blue compound (which appears as compose bleu in my game despite the translation package as mentioned in issue 1) requires Reefback leviathan eggs to unlock the recipe and subsequently to craft it which, to my knowledge and everyone else on vanilla wikis, do not exist in the game and haven't for awhile (without cheats that is).
I really like this mod and how it makes every little resource have a little more meaning, particularly all the plants, Sometimes its a little grindy for my taste but the shake-up of the progression loop and commonly sought after resources is really reigniting my passion for the game. It is for this reason that I wanted to make this detailed post, with key words highlighted. I hope if you do see this, none of my notes get lost in translation because I do believe that in essence, this is one of the better gameplay mods for the game out there.
I wanted to believe that all of issues save for case 1 were related to me not having explored enough, but after 50+ in-game days of not knowing how to make the core material alchemic/organic titanium, I had to do some digging and these are the conclusion I came to. I fully accept that I may have misread certain parts of the configs because a. I am not a coder and b. a lot of the internal config code is a mix of both French and English, and I do not speak French, so it was a little difficult to discern what related to what at times.
First of all : thank you very much for your feedback ;) it will help me to update it, i will consider all and yeah, you are right on some points like organic titanium, i think i uploaded the mod and then i made some corrections... My bad... I need to check that, it is planned and recently i already worked on some rebalance that i will put on the futur update. But I won't be available until Sunday at least... Thx again for feedback, I would consider them
2. Unlocking alchemic titanium : you're wrong on the condition to unlock Alchemic Titanium, trust me, no need to go so deep... this => "unlock requirement in the mod files is to have acquired organic titanium" is completely false, i can tell you in PM what you need to unlock if you really can't find it.
3. The white tablet : it does not have its own recipe, it is found during the manufacturing process, just like other elements such as organic titanium, for example. The in-game item exists but has been removed, it's true. Modding allows us to obtain it even if it's basically useless.
4. The blue compound : same as for the white tablet => the ReefBack leviathan egg item exists and can be obtained via modding. The unlocking condition here is a little specific but viable. However, the egg in this case is not used to obtain a ReefBack, which is impossible... unless a modder generates a specific mod for this purpose but that's not what I'm proposing here.
What's for sure is that I'm thinking of revising some things after your comments, I realize that some items aren't easy to find and maybe I'll make some corrections to all of this. I need to think about it and I think I've got some better ideas, to follow in future updates...
It's a mod that offers to fabricate ores in the 1st place, as Alchemy V3 suggests, the basic idea is the same here.
I've added new materials derived from this alchemy and suggest to integrate them optionally into many recipes in the Vanilla game. This adds to the difficulty.
it's strange... I tested everything before posting the mod, now I've just tested it by starting a new game in creative and everything works fine for me even if i let "ForceUnlockAtStart" to NO in "_Alch_NEW_CustomFAB__" file

(perhaps I should rename "Sulfur Crystals" in "Altered Sulfur Crystals" to avoid resemblance with Crystalline Sulfur...)

Exactly, it requires CustomCraft3 so it's installed into ==>BepInEx/plugins/CustomCraft3

(gimme an hour)
also sorry for not replying when i figured that out
No it's not a problem, the recipe need to be unlock to have it, you'll need to explore the game a little ;-)
