Definitely enjoy it. I think my only qualm would be that it needs a way to organize the icons. When you dump anything and everything into the system, it comes out pretty disjointed. Trying to find the item you need can be difficult, but it does help that it happens in about the order you've found things.
For those with a little tech savvy, you can organize the JSON file that contains the items researched (located under each save folder). I used Excel, created a list and ranking using some string modifying formulas, and used a few tabs to organize the data that way, pasting it back into the file.
i tried this mod but have a problem. i can build the research thing. but i cant open the exchange window. i tried to set new keys and stuff but it just doesnt open please help.
update. dunno what changed but i can open it now, it seems to be quite stressful but sometimes i can open the menu someties not. i press 20 times those buttons and 1 time the menu opens. why even have TWO buttons you need to press at the same time?
They're required to press both at the same time primarily to avoid annoyance when typing into things like the console, locker name inputs, sub name inputs, etc. but they can just be set to the same button if you don't care
If they're set to only a single button, it'll activate and open the menu even while typing into other menus. And I didn't feel like checking for every menu, so instead I did this. If you don't like it, you can set them to the same key and it works as only a single button then
Yes i have read that its just something that was annoying me. also i just binded both keys to an unused numpad key so all is fine and dandy. but one other thing written in the description seems (at least for me) not correct and thats is; (or holding one and pressing the other). i really need to press both keys in the exact same nanosecond
You're right, that's my bad. I thought my code checked for one button being pressed while the other was held, but no it does actually check for both being pressed in the same frame. Which means especially at higher framerates it could get very difficult to press them at the same time. Next time I make an update for it, if I remember, I'll change that to hold one + press the other
Hello, i have a bug where the ECM is bugged where all the items make me gain a lot of it for an example the lithium gives:5,583457E+10. i tried to reinstall the mod but this didnt work and the problem still persists
That's very interesting, could you send the log file from the bepinex folder so I can see if there's any errors occurring? and have you touched the config files at all? And could you try deleting the config file in the bepinex/config/EquivalentExchange folder, and then running the game again?
Hello, I downloaded your old version MOD from the Submodica website. It seems that your MOD has some issues in version 6598. First, I tried adding ecm values for mod items in the ModifiedItemCosts section of the configuration file, but it didn't work Once I added it to OrganicMaterialsCosts, it did take effect, but the prices of the items used to make it became chaotic. Second, your MOD not very "smart" when interacting with "batch manufacturing". For example, if I use two titanium to make two pipes, then I can use these two pipes get four titanium. Third, the blacklist doesn't seem to work, and the additions I made for automatic filtering also seem ineffective. Although I don't know if will continue to manage the old version of the mod, I still want to ask.
Now thats smth, didnt think i would ever see what amounts to ProjectE from Minecraft as a mod for another game. That bring memories back from earlier times.
