Love this mod and the concept. I hope you take this even further if possible, maybe even being able to click a growbed and harvest options from that interface/window (Im looking at you Blood Oil & Creep Vines).

Indoor Flora Speckled Rattler Pink Cap Chinese Potato (Sort of - only gives one at a time and you have to repeat, unlike the other harvests).
Water Flora Acid Mushroom Deep Shroom Gel Sack Pygmy Fan
1.) When targeting a plant with knife in hand, not all plants give the "Harvest + Sprint - get seeds" option. However, it will still do it, just do the harvest with knife and hold sprint key.

2.) Noticed that it does not affect tree-like flora. Would be nice to harvest the lantern fruit this way or bulbo trees, for example, but honestly it should work for all of them.

EDIT: Noticed another issue. When planting seeds in planters, if you shift+click on a seed type to fill an empty planter (like say voxel seeds for example), it will use the first set of plantable seeds and plants in the inventory (not just seed variant), and NOT the ones you clicked to plant. You can get around it by left clicking the ones you want, one at a time, but you can't shift+click groups to transfer to the planters like before.
hi, thanks for your feedback. when i made this mod i just wanted it to do 1 thing: gather marblemelon seeds because the knife hitbox was so small, i couldn't hit it. once i was done i just posted it for fun even though i knew it had a lot of bugs. your post inspired me to fix most bugs. the bugs you mentioned should be fixed in 1.0.1. however, i did not fix the tree like flora except for bulbo trees. i find it useless since the fruits don't really have seeds.
in regards to your edit, i have no idea what you're talking about. i did not add such features to the mod, are you mistaking the mod for different one?
also, im not planning on adding harvest option through the UI anytime soon. maybe later if the mod actually goes big anyways, i hope the mod is at least bearable now i fixed most bugs. if u find anymore bugs feel free to tell me
About the edit, i was referring about the ability to move stuff from one inventory to another, including planters. It's not your mod's mechanics, but I did notice when using your mod, it has a peculiar way of changing what is done.
Normally if I shift+click a group, like marblemelon seeds to refill an indoor growbed, it would fill all the slots with marblemelon seeds. While using your mod it seems to make the first available plantables (be it the plant or the seed) in your inventory apply first, instead of what you shift+click. I was thinking that maybe there is some kind of conflict with the shift+harvest option causing the issue. It's not a huge deal, just a minor issue as you can workaround it by single clicking the desired plantables to go into the various planters.
As far as the other edits to the UI of the growbeds and planters, that's perfectly fine. This mod is one of those "great advancements" and step forwards to getting something better in the future. If not you, maybe someone else will be inspired to do something as well. You've done a great job by itself and like you said, some of those hitboxes and mechanics were annoying... ESPECIALLY Blood Oil... and next creepvine clicking, lol.

is the shift click thing a vanilla feature? i never knew about it and i cant seem to reproduce the issue. also, it doesnt make sense since my mod doesnt interact with the PDA interface. by the way, while im at it i released 1.1.0 that should have fixed the bug with the lantern fruit and all other tree-like flora like you said

As far as the shift+click goes, I thought it was one of the tweak mods, like BepInEx Tweaks or UI Tweaks or something like that, but I can't see it... then maybe one of the Storage/Inventory sorters, but I'll have to dig deeper next time im in game to see which one is actually doing it it. Maybe M3dicCookie knows.
