There is a slider to adjust the distance of the PDA but if I remember correctly, I have it set to the maximum arm length of the character by default. Are you saying that even when set to maximum, it is still too close for you?
Hello, I'd also like to tag in here about the PDA being too close. I looked at my arm and it still seems I could be able to stretch it a bit further, but I could not manage to find any setting or slider to adjust this. Is this an in-game setting or something that needs to be adjusted directly in the mod?
Thank you for the hard work you put in! When I am using VR, buildings only render when I am right up against them. I'll have to check if this is a game slider at some point, but it only occurs when using the VR mode. Does anyone know why I can't see buildings at normal distances? I have also only tried the VR mode a little bit in the final zone.
i love this mod alongside Enable Y-Axis one that allows the mouse to act as the main cursor, the only problem is the head is still able to move the cursor around. is it possible to have an option to completely detach the cursor from the head movement so you are still able to look around with your head if you so want to, but not move cursor around with it, to have that option instead be fully controlled by mouse and keyboard?
Thanks for all the hard work, and replying to users comments--I imagine being a mod created is a mixed-bag experience, but I hope you take satisfaction in what you've created. I just bought a Quest 3 and this game is one I can show any doubters about the future of VR, and say---just take a look down into the dark waters and tell me what you feel.... Great work! Cheers
Thank you for the feedback. To be honest, making the mod is basically like playing a puzzle game to me and I think I actually spent more hours making the mod than playing the game lol.
I did not include this in the mod because weird stuff can happen when you can control pitch with both the headset and controller. If your head is straight ahead and you look down with the controller and then look down with your head, you end up looking through your body, backwards and upside down. There is another mod that enables it if you still want it https://www.nexusmods.com/subnautica/mods/1157
This problem has never been reported before so I'm not sure what would be causing it for you. If you have other mods installed, you can try testing it with only my VR mod installed to check if there is mod compatibility issue. You can also send me a PM with the contents of your Player.log file so I can look into it.
I'm hoping to get a Quest 3 by the end of the year, and haven't played Subnautica yet because I really want to play it in VR. Can you easily finish the whole game using this mod and a controller? I noticed the motion controls mod has a bug where you can't delete buildings - is this one okay in that regard? because yeah if you can finish the game comfortably and can do everything you can in the flatscreen version then I'm definitely playing this in VR when I get the headset!!!

Looking at it with one eye kinda works, but not the ideal way to go through a 100 hour game, and also it makes me sleepy 😴
i would line to move it back a bit if its possible
Regards
