    Great idea. Really like it. Endorsed. :)

    However, when using a controller (which uses the LB/RB shoulder buttons to switch between PDA tabs) you can navigate to the ToDo list, but once it's selected you cannot navigate away from it without using a mouse.

    Any chance of a update?

      Came here to say the same thing, or add a big report for this. I understand it's probably not a priority fix for most players, but for us controller users it does get pretty annoying. I disabled the mod because of this and the automatic notes where weren't happening.

    I would love to see this work with Below Zero as well. I have greatly enjoyed using this mod. It's given me a great guideline on what to do and check out. It would be nice to see it go more in depth as well: things not currently added that are required to beat the game, or highly recommended or encouraged. I think overall it does well. There has been times I've seen it add an item or two twice, or not add them at all.

    PLEASE add it to V2.0
    I'd LOVE to use this with my other mods, so if possible, update it to V2.0
    That way i can actually try it, and i will probably even endorse it if i like it enough, but all in all, i'd love to use it with De-extinction and Remnants of life.

    Does this pass time fast? It caused me to lose a hardcore world because the explosion was happening in 3 minutes (Playing Deathrun as well) and when I opened this and added to my list, it caused the timer to pass very quickly and I died to the explosion. I did another test, and noticed that when you close the PDA after adding to it, there is a short time where you cant move, and during this time it looked like the time passes extremely fast. (In the game I just started to test, it went from day to night just in the short time. I checked and made sure that it was midday before editing)

      I'm not able to replicate this. Do you have some mod that affects the day/night cycle or something? My only other idea would be a mod incompatibility but it's a very weird bug.

    Update 1.1.0 improved the mod incredibly well! However, I tested it and found several issues.

    1. After listening to the radio message I didn't get the guiding item about exploring the captain's cabin and... something about a sandwich? It's funny that it exists in the localization file XD
    So, check if it works correctly.

    2. Creating a localization file in another language leads to the error in which the guiding items are not added and the "TODO LIST" tab itself can't be opened, although it exists. It occurs when using any languages except the added one. I didn't check what happens if I add a second localization language. (English.json file remained in place and unchanged).

    For testing.
    I created localization file Russian.json (if you want, you may add it to the mod).

    There were no other serious issues. It would also be great to add localization for the "Enter text..." label when creating an item and for the "TODO LIST" header located above the yellow line in the tab itself. Also, I suggest slightly improving the text of the guiding items. Here it is.
    (Added depth display on items about Lifepods as on their beacons. Changed the text about three Life pods with unknown coordinates. Changed the items about self-scan and scanner.)

      Update: I've added localization for the text you requested, and fixed the captains code hint not showing up. I wasn't able to replicate the tab bug, however. My steps were this: Create Russian.json with your translation -> Switch language to Russian -> Test -> Bug doesn't seem to happen -> Switch back to
      English -> Bug still doesn't happen
      Did I miss a step?

      Also, I didn't include your translation file in version 1.1.1, but feel free to upload it as a separate mod.

      Update 1.1.1
      The localization changes are extremely nice! I can say that I really like the mod. I will definitely use it. Regarding the tab bug, I have not seen it again, but last time I was able to get rid of it only by reinstalling the game. Perhaps the bug happened due to a change in the mod versions or errors caused by other mods working with it, but now I can't give information about it. I also faced two new problems.

      1. When changing the language, the already given guiding items remain in the previous language. This doesn't seem to be a problem, because the player has the opportunity to change them. I bet it's not an issue, but let you know anyway.

      2. When saving and loading the game, any changes to the text of todo items are not saved. That is, if the player created a new item and wrote the text, then after loading a new item will remain, but the text won't be there. Also, if you change the guiding todo item, then after loading it will return to the original one. It seems that this may be a bug when loading the save, because the cache in Subnautica\SNAppData\SavedGames\slot0007\TodoList\TodoListSaveData.json is changing.

      I also want to thank you for implementing my ideas and for the quick response to bug reports.

      Update: 1.1.2 should fix these bugs. You may have a problem if you use the mod on a save you already had, but I believe saving after loading into the game should update the save data and fix it

      It's just a joke lol. In the radio message from Alterra the guy in the background is asking the radio operator what sandwich they want and they say "The regular".

      One doubt, I created a copy of the file "English.json", renamed it to "Spanish.json" and translated the texts, how can I load the new file? or should the "English.json" be translated directly?

      Assuming the Spanish.json file is in the same folder as the English.json, you should just be able to set your language to Spanish in the game settings and it should just work.

      Do you mean the MOD menu in the game options to configure the mod? There is only one option -> "create guiding todo items".

      There are two files in the localization folder, English.json and Spanish.json. I also tried putting Español.json just in case. The thing is, in the mod options in the MOD menu, there is nothing to choose the language. There is only one option with the default milestones, and I can't select a language.

      I saw the problem, I named the translated file "Spanish.json", but it has to be "Español.json", the language file must have the same name as the languages shown by the game in the general tab.

      You can? Just click “Add new item” and you can type in the item that is added. You can also change the hint items if you so choose

    Incredibly good job! This is the first mod I know that adds a new PDA tab. I am very glad this mod appeared. I want to put forward something from myself and give you some interesting ideas that you might want to implement.

    1. Add a button on the right of list item to delete it specifically. It can be annoying when you need to mark each item and then delete them all.

    2. Add auto-completion guiding todo items. For some, such as cave exploration, it will be difficult to add, but you could add it at least for creating/receiving items and fixing radio/secondary systems of the Lifepod and such things.
