It's not working at all or doing anything. I'm installing it correctly as far as I can tell, but whenever I select it in the reshade menu, no effects are turned on at all and nothing changes when I turn shaders on or off. Is my direct X broken or something?
Is it just incompatible with the latest version of reshade or something? I installed the cinematic shader and the depths shader, and they seem to do something. This one does *something* too after installing the cinematic shader, as it seems to have reverted the version of reshade and now sooome effects show up in the menu.
Make sure you've installed ALL of the options when you install reshade. You'll get to a screen where it allows you to select the effects you want. You want to use the check box that selects ALL of the shaders. You likely didn't do this when you installed reshade as its not the default option. If I recall correctly, you need to be using direct x 10/11/12 as well. One of those two options is your problem.
This preset is FULLY COMPATIBLE, and was made using the current version of reshade.
Very late reply, but it seems that this preset uses three effects: MagicHDR.fx, FilmicAnamorphSharpen.fx and AmbientLight.fx, which come from three packs: Legacy effects, FXShaders, and fubax-shaders. You should select these packs when you install ReShade.
All you need to do is install reshade, then put my ini file into the root subnautica folder. Launch the game, and then choose the ini you placed as your preset.
You need to install the reshade mod that is listed in the requirements section of this page. Once that's done you need to take my mod file and drop it in the main directory of your Subnautica install folder. Finally open the game, open the reshade menu, and activate the file.
There are many many guides and videos that detail this process. Check one of them out if you're still confused.
This is my favourite reshade mod for this game. Mainly because it looks good and also doesn't set the brightness down to my basement's level and also quintuple the sharpness. Very nice work.
