I kept giggling like a happy child every time I crossed paths with an Example Shark in the wild--had no idea which of my 80-some mods it came from, I just found it funny for whatever reason. Thanks for making it a setting--eventually I might not be amused by the occasional run-ins with Example Sharks (I imagine them chasing down prey and and loudly explaining things and making analogies in their direction), but that day is not today!
And unrelated "thank you!" to yourself and all the other Subnautica modders, I've been getting way more mileage out of this game than I ever expected and the mods continue to impress.
If we have already spawned these sharks, how does one despawn them? I spawned using Ecc library Example leviathan spawns but we can't figure out how to unspawn lol.
Happy New Year, Return of the Ancients is asking me for ECC library 2.1 and this one seems to be 2.0.9. Any idea where I can find 2.1, please? Thank You
??? Version number on top of the page says 2.1.0. Version number next to the DL-Link says 2.1.0. File name of the download says 2.1.0... How do you think this would be 2.0.9? (just curious...)
I think you are right that Earth shark does not fit into the game world, but I don't mind. When I first found this I was very excited thinking it was an Easter egg.
Well, it would be nice to implement an option to disable it for those who don't think they like it.
Is there a way to manually spawn Earth shark? I want it to swim around my base (as long as it doesn't attack other small fish).
Hi all love this mod and all the related content. I think earth shark is hella funny but I am wondering if anyone came up with a way to disable, or if the creator could add a way to toggle this on/off. I'm introducing my wife to the game and I want to use some ECC content but I didn't want to have the earth shark pull her out of the zone in lost river. Wondering about starting a game for her, going and killing it, and coming back, but that would throw off everything sadly and I want her to be able to beat it from the start to end by herself.
I understand your concern... I may be too late but for anyone in the future, there is a way to disable the shark.
First you can navigate to your (existing) save folder (Subnautica\SNAppData\SavedGames\slotXXXX). There should be a file in there called CoordinatedSpawnsInitialized.nautilus. Hopefully you know how to edit JSON files, but simply copy this: https://pastebin.com/GYhwvcfw and paste it into the outer brackets ([ ]). Remember to add a comma to the end of what you pasted if and only if there are any other "entries" after the one you just added.
The Bloop and Blaza 2.0 mod requires this mod, and even though I have the latest Tobey BepInEx file and pre.21 installed, neither ECC Library or the B&B mods load.
[And yes, I need pre.21 because I still have mods that require SMLHelper and the mod authors aren't updating them]

I didn't do this for the shark haters... if you're reading this you know who you are...
