It's nice, but can you make it appear only during the active gameplay, please? Right now it appears no matter what happens - in PDA, in menu, on loads, even on deathscreen.
Actually it still appears during animations, death and menu screen. I was more suggesting to give it the same behavior as compass rather than simply making it disappear at certain conditions.
