If you are running without the early unlock ion battery mod then you have to go to the alien thermal plant to unlock it there. since I remember with the early unlock ion battery mod i got the ion matrix as soon as i got the recipe to ion batteries.
Anyone know how to unlock the polymer battery, i've made half of the items and still no recipe for it also how do you unlock the ion matrix cube. Also make this mode give you all the recipes and maybe a little less exspensive, i'm alreay running out of rescources. (EDIT) excuse my bad grammar.
