I really like the that the mod keeps my items safe (not falling to the oceans bottom) when I die and gives me a beacon to the position.
But I kinda fail to see the point in keeping the Storage Boxes and the beacon signal around after after you have emptied the box. Even worse, you aren't even able to interact with it. So now I have a ton of wobbling storage boxes with beacon signals that I can't interact with. (I know I can disable the signal in my PDA, but I can't remove the signal row).
Wouldn't it just been better if the box just vanishes after you taken all the items out of it?
Can you please make a version of this mod where the Death Container disappear when it is emptied? Or can I post a modified version where they disappear when empty?
@xxxHeavyArms117xxx: I use this mod (slightly modified) with EasyCraft and have no problem with EasyCraft pulling stuff from my lockers. But my modified version of Death Container vanish when it is emptied. So I don't have any of the around. I guess having tons of them close to your base could cause troubles with EasyCraft
I had an issue where my fabricators wouldn't pull from storage, deleting this mod fixed it, unfortunately. Anyone else had this issue and/or know how to fix it?
Hi. Just now have died and when have reached container have encountered an issue.
When I opened container it is having 10 rows on width and at least 15 rows in height, and cannot control it in sense of scrolling or mouse moving to upper rows where is rest of items that are inside of this container, which makes me unable to retrieve them from container.
Any ideas why ? Am using Inventory Size mod, among other mods.
Great mod, incredible that no one had thought to make it earlier.
One feature I think it really needs though, is a setting for "maximum markers created". (meaning for example, if you set the maximum to 3, you would only ever have signals in your PDAA leading to your three most recent death markers, and after generating the max allowed markers, every time you die and create a new one, it deletes the oldest one automatically)
Cuz as it is, my PDA's 'Beacon Manager' tab is getting to be annoying to navigate, because I still have markers from my last 15 deaths I have to scroll through on the list, to get to the important ones. I can make them invisible, but I can't delete them from my list of beacons.
nobody is talking about entering a base and having their invo saved. this is about the mod. i tested it myself and after getting a bunch of resources and deliberately drowning the container indeed doesn't spawn on location, there's no signal and inventory is not lost.

Other than that small annoyance, great job!

ps: i know you can filter the markers in the marker control, but im afraid it will become quite crowded after a while
