Все работает хорошо, создал свои слайды, но есть нюанс: постоянно выскакивает слайд дефолтный с падающей Авророй на заднем фоне, что вызывает мешанину из картинок.
it freezes the game and has to be forcefully shut down. can't even load the save before it completely freezes up. removed all other mods and tried the mod with only using BepInEx & Nautilus and it still freezes. yes the images i tried were .jpg and .png. even tried using just the ones that actually come with the mod and it's the same problem. if i remove every image from the mod folder the game loads fine, which defeats the purpose of having the mod.
i hade the same proble, your pc is mouving all the data from your ssd to your ram that proces may take a while. try using less images or ones of lover resolution. and dont interact with subnautica befor it loads that breaks it for some reason. for example i was usind like 0.5 gb of images at a way higher resolution than my monitor can show, so i downscaled all the images to my minitors resolution and it loads much faster.
"try using less images" like it's mentioned in the bugs section using just 1 is the whole issue. the mod freezes the game if there's only 1 image in the folder, but if there's 2 (even if it's a copy of the 1 you wanna use) or more then the game loads fine. and the images the mod comes with have different resolutions so that's not the issue nor is the issue the type of monitor being used. it would be nice if this could be looked at or fixed. it's been a while.
Will you ever update the mod with more loading screens? I think the ones you have are great, but the 3 cycle through pretty fast. Maybe having more concept art as pictures could be awesome! Also, is the picture you have in the images tab in the game? I don't have it if so.
Is there a way to make the pictures last a bit longer before changing? I'm not that good with config files and I can't edit the .dll file with notepad++, is there another software I should use or is it not possible with .dll?
I miss the old picture which shows the cyclops, here in the medias. Instead of that, there are three other pictures. And when I take the picture I want, from an older version of this mod, and put it into the slideshow folder, the file won't be shown. It was a great mod and now... :-( (the old mod doesn't work anymore)

Duplicate the image, so the game can still "slideshow" between two identical images.
Otherwise the game will crash on startup.
