Huh, for some reason I'm having some issues trying to get this mod to work for me. I've got the necessary equipment fabricated (the charge fins) and the necessary mods to make this one work, just like any other mods nowadays, but when I load my game and I jump into the water and start swimming in circles (yes, I have the check box checked on in the mods option menu) to test to see if any of my equipment is charging, none of them are and the only way for me to charge them is to hold them out in my hands, vanilla style. I'm not sure if for some reason I might have a conflicting mod that the game's not telling me or this is just a random off chance bug that I've come across.
Oh, quick mod update request if you're able to do it some how, (also yes, I'm aware of the irony to request an update to a mod that's not working properly for me, at the moment) would it be possible to add a slider to your mod to adjust the rate at which things in the game get recharged by swimming? The vanilla (I'm just taking a random guess here) swimming for 10 meters per 1% recharge is, in my opinion, way to slow and tedious to have to swim in circles to regain some battery life whilst out in the field gathering resources and trying not to have to run around in circles all the time having to go all the way back to your base and back out to where you were 10 minutes ago.
Your best bet for support in getting it working is the Subnautica Modding discord.
As far as the request, I've actually considered adding a customizable charge rate but wasn't sure there was any interest. I'll definitely add it next I get a chance.
So I managed to figure out why your mod wasn't working properly for me, thanks to the Modding Discord (thanks by the way for suggesting that) apparently I somehow installed your mod twice and had it located inside a different folder than the Plugins folder; I deleted the misplaced one and voila it starts to work properly.
As for that "considering" update to your mod, I can't wait until you have to opportunity to update this awesome mod to incorporate that slider so I can enjoy endless streamlined fun without having to swim for a nautical mile to recharge my gear. Thanks again for this awesome mod.
Happy I was not having the same issue. Edit: Reinstalled it off of nexus and it worked. Apparently the swim charge inventory mod from submodica is useless.
Thanks! Technically it will catch on any mod that implements a `ugscfins` but this way at least it will work without an update on my part when those mods are updated for Subnautica 2.0.
My dad and I were just talking about this today. You're a mind reader, my friend!! Many thanks to PrimeSonic, MrPurple6411, tobeyStraitjacket, and Metious for the joint effort. It's our first playthrough and y'all's mods are making all the difference in the world.
