Is there a way to switch between the two modes on the fly? Like perhaps tying the focus/observe button to it, so instead of zooming in, it moves the camera to the cat's perspective.
If there's any way to have a first person view at a higher viewpoint like where the original is. It would mean having to make the cat not visible. And I know doing that would remove the cat's eye perspective but the plus is it would make the graphics sharper like with the default perspective.
That may sound absurd but it's not really, it has precedent in Witcher 3. Mods for it have a command "hideplayer" in an extended commands mod. It makes your character not appear. It's still there doing things you control it to do but it's not visible. So movement is awkward which is the downside to it. And it's not meant for combat, just for exploration. So you get to play in what you see as first person but moving around is tricky.
I love it! I kind of want to see one where the paws come into frame once in a while but as I know nothing of modding I will continue to be ecstatic with this!
