I've just updated the mod. Version 1.1 includes improved textures of mouth and paws. If you want to use an older version you can still do so - it's available to download under Old files tab.
I plan to do a video tutorial later tonight (EU timezone), it's easy but I can't promise you'll be able to modify the texture to look like your cat 1:1
Yes please tell me how to open and edit .pak files please. I tried to open them in other games, but no one could tell me how. what program did you use? :)))
OMG that would be amazing! I didn't know that about the AI cat models, kind of a weird choice by the devs. You're really doing a service by making these alternate textures, so thank you!
