hi!! could i ask for a version that only changes the cat badge to the symbol it is in the picture? i understand if you're no longer interested or don't have the time, and i can figure it out myself if need be.
Where do you find the files for the pins? I can't find anything elsewhere. I want to try and make my own. If you could help, I would appreciate it. Otherwise, I'll try and keep looking lol
So I used Umodel to extract the files from the game folders. The Pins are in Content>Data>Textures>Badge. I then just imported them into Unreal Engine 4.27 then cooked it for windows. Then in the cooked files for the Unreal Project I took the .uasset .ubulk and .uexp files and put them in a folder with these folders: Hk_Project-WindowsNoEditor_[YOURPROJECTNAME]>Hk_project>Content>Data>Textures>Badge I put the cooked unreal files in the Badge folder, then used UnrealPak ?to turn it into a .pak file. Its a lot of unnecessary steps but I hope this helps :)
You should make a video on Youtube teaching it. I bet many are interested in this. hahahaha Let's see if I understand... I open Umodel, select the game folder, look for the path "Content>Data>Textures>Badge". I see 8 .uasset "..._CO" "..._LP". But it's confused now. I do what? Do I export to Windows? When I did that, it came in TGA file. I open it in Photoshop and create the pin I want and save it? Then what do I do? Or I don't have to do this, but I have to Install Unreal Engine 4.27 and export to it? Thank you so much for your time and kindness in explaining. If you could explain the step by step better, I would be very grateful. I've been looking for this for a few days and I can't find it anywhere. :)
Unfortunately, the way the cat pin works is really weird and It only takes a while symbol on a black background. Anything else freaks it out and it just turns blue, and I wasn't able to reverse engineer it.
So the cat pin takes the same symbol as the desktop icon for the game (the black square with the glitchy cat in white) and, from what I could gather, takes just the white pixels and makes that into the pin, so anything other than a white on black image just ends up being the blue screen-like texture. I spent like 2 hours trying to find a work around and I couldn't find anything with my limited understanding of the way the game is made.

edit: Oh, I see others asked and got answers with technical issues. Dang. Would have been cool
if it's not too much trouble i would love a version with the trans symbol replace with the ace pride flag
