Yeah it's basically impossible to get something that looks really good in all situations for this game, with it's freaking neon intensity lighting in some areas. I'm playing with this preset and the in game brightness set to max and it still looks better most of the time in my opinion though. And even though it does make bright bloom areas brighter you don't actually lose any detail really as you can see in some of the screenshots I posted.
I genuinely think this game is just not running at the right levels internally and something is messed up, because there is no reason it should be so dark and bright at the same time by default. I really hope it gets patched to fix it because Nioh 1 and 2 were NOT like this at all.
