   Is there a way to disable the ringing sound effect that plays so long as you have a buff active? That would be really awesome to get rid of too since that ruins the feel of the level music.

   The toggle doesn't work in the opening area of Sunken Shrine Memories of Water (the FF7 Mako Reactor level), tried toggling on and off, restarting the level and the game, etc. But once you get into the next area with the exploding tanks, it seems to work again.
   
   edit: also in some of the earlier areas of Schemes of the Past

      Hello, you need to install the CheatEngine software.
      
      

      
      
      • Run CheatEngine
        
      • attach it to the game's process (SOPFFO.exe)
        
      • import the .ct file (File > Open)
        

      
      Now you can toggle the cheat on/off.
