Introduction
With this mod, toolbelt slots become additional inventory storage slots that can hold one item each. This new system also aims to consider the item type when assigning toolbelt slots instead of only the item reference id. This means If the original item used to assign the toolbelt is dropped or destroyed and you have an item of the same type in your inventory it'll use that second item instead. The mod works with vanilla saves meaning if you already have items assigned to the toolbelt those items will be pulled from the inventory and loaded into their respective toolbelt slots.

Features
  • Toolbelt slots are additional inventory slots
  • Remember the item type stored in a toolbelt slot even if the item breaks or is dropped
  • Toggle always show the hotkey bar
  • Stack transfer an inventory slot to another container crate or other storage medium (hold right click)
  • Quick drop items from the inventory by hovering over an item and pressing the right mouse button (right click)
  • Toolbelt slots can be cleared/unassigned with an empty hand or by holding an item of the same type
  • Toggle allows container crates in the toolbelt (cheat)
  • Toggle allows stackable toolbelt slot (cheat) (Not recommended for first time players as it gives a considerable advantage)
  • Manual update detection for those using older versions of UnityModManager

Enabling/Disabling The Mod
You cannot enable or disable the mod from within a loaded world. If you wish to enable or disable the mod, you must quit to the main menu and toggle the mod from there. Trying to toggle the mod from within a loaded world will display a message under the "Requirements" tab in the UMM GUI saying that you must exit to the main menu before you can toggle the mod. Once in the main menu you're free to toggle the mod on and off.

Warning
Do not load or save a modded save with the mod disabled as any items you have in the toolbelt will not be loaded in vanilla. This means if you save a previously modded save with the mod disabled you risk losing some of your items. So if you accidentally load a modded save with the mod disabled, simply quit to the main menu and you won't lose your toolbelt items.

If you wish to disable the mod, it is highly recommended to empty your toolbelt items into a container crate or drop them on the ground. Then save your game, quit to the main menu, and disable the mod.

Compatibility
Tested on Epic Games release: 1.0.38.0.29
Tested on the Steam release: 1.0.31.0.25
Should work on the Steam and Xbox Gamepass release as well.

This mod is not natively multiplayer compatible meaning it might not work as intended in multiplayer. It might work if both players have the mod installed but this has not been tested yet.

The mod does not alter any game files meaning it should work between updates as long as there's no major update to the internal game logic. It should also be compatible with other UnityModManager (UMM) mods and even mods that require changing or replacing game files.
