I managed to get rid of the annoying "sunny" and "night" musics by putting silent .wav files into their corresponding folders while keeping the shark theme active.. so thank you so much for this utility..
The problem started when I wanted to change the default shark music with a more terrifying audio (shark theme from the game Scarface: The World is Yours).. I'm applying all the settings correctly (16 bit, 44100 hz, stereo) but something keeps it from playing normally in the game.. all I hear is a tinnitus like constant ringing sound whenever a shark approaches.. the file is originally an mp3 audio and is only 1.75 mb or something like that.. so its definitely a compressed audio (maybe all mp3 files are, I'm not experienced on this subject).. I guess that "pcm" feature somehow messes it up while converting it to a .wav file.. could it be a failed decompression?.. and if that so, how can I know the decompression can be done successfully?.. the output .wav file becomes almost 19 mb in size, but I can't analyze the other details.. the only thing I see is the bit speed, which jumps from 128 to 1411 kb/s when its converted to a .wav file.. there are a dozen of pcm format options on the site I'm trying to convert this file, but I have no idea which one could be the right option.. I also tried audacity, but it just creates the exact same file as the site creates.. can you please help me on this?..
Hey there ! It's a UMM mod, so you have to have Unity Mod Manager installed first : https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/21
Then you drop the zip in UMM and the mod will be installed. Launch the game once and check the mod directory which would be : <StrandedDeep install dir>/Mods/StrandedDeepMusicMod
You should see a bunch of directories inside, like Ambience_Carrier, Ambience_Cockpit and so on
Drop a wav file in the directory of the song you wish to replace, the file must be in certain format to work (see mod page), the mod will play it next time you start the game
