    Got near the island and the game lagged a bit, so I saved the game, closed and re-opened the client and now every time I load the game it freezes completely, so I went away from the island in fly mode (took a while as I was working with about 1 frame every 30 seconds), and it returned to normal, but as soon as I got within render distance of the objects on the island again, the game completely freezes up. All my setting are optimised for my set-up, which is not the best but still runs the rest of the game and all the custom maps I have installed installed just fine. This is the only map I have encountered this issue with.

    So, every time I get close to the island the game stutters and then hangs. Can't play at all. Wish I knew why, but this is the only island I've had this problem with.

    I wish I had the creativeness, patience and time to make an amazing map like this!  If I did, then I would have created an island exactly like this one.  I love how much diversity there is across the map - will be hard to find a reason to ever leave.  The cave system is phenomenal and provides an area with a very different feel from the rest.

    I have been tinkering around with it a little, because I'm thinking about reorganizing the wildlife.  Is there a particular reason I can't delete or move the snakes in the one sea port that has four of them on the main floor?  It's weird, they are the only objects I cannot interact with in the cartographer.

    No big deal though.  Other than adjusting some animal locations, I love the map just the way it is.  Truly a masterpiece.

      ya thanks man i saw the subscription. thank you! just for that i will start to make a new map in honor of you. ya the snakes are super weird. you can move them it is just VERY hard to grab them once they are placed. you have to grab them like in the middle of their body and you have to be facing the right direction or it will just grab onto something else, its really annoying. basically with the snakes i put them in as the absolute last thing in the map usually. once i put it in the map i edit them right then cuz you probably wont be able to again after that. 
      thank you again for the membership i really appreciate it and i will start working on the new map tomorrow so be on the look out for a new map in a few days.

      That's really awesome!  You certainly don't need to do anything on my account, but I will definitely appreciate any new maps that you do create.

      I understand what you are saying about the snakes.  I figured out that if I move the sea port on the Y-axis enough, then I can more easily select the snakes and delete them.  It appears to be a layering issue with the software.  

      I will keep an eye out for any new maps you make.  Thank you again for being so generous to share the hard work you do on the maps with the people in this community!  Without your efforts like this and the efforts of others who make maps, I know I would have given up on this game long ago.

    how do i install? my game version is 0.76.01

      Download and extract the files.  Then copy the MAP folder to your C:\Users\%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Beam Team Games\Stranded Deep\Data\Maps folder*

      Example: C:\Users\%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Beam Team Games\Stranded Deep\Data\Maps\MAP_0b6841fd-5d05-4ade-9837-3b12696fc8fc\

      Inside all MAP_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx folders are three .map files, which are needed to create a single custom island.
