Is there a way to change the time scale and not have it reset back to midnight?  I have tried setting it to 150 and then once it gets light out I try moving it to 1, but the time always starts over like a new day.

      Why do you do that?
Console command for changing timescale is allowed from main menu only. I think there is a reason.
Try to exit to main menu before changing timescale.

Doesn't seem to make a difference. As soon as I enter the game after changing the time scale it starts over again.  I wanted to actually be able to cook/gather water without waiting an hour of real time and then change back.

Well, this mod was not supposed to work like that. There are many internal variables that depend on timescale, so changing it leads to such behaviour. But since it was supposed to be changed once per game (or twice, while you're looking for a comfort value), this is not an issue.

Most excellent, and well described sequence of events that must happen to make it work. Thank you very much!
