Hey everyone! After some testing, I found that the "Debuff Indicators" feature in UI Plus is what causes the error pop-ups—especially when using Electromancy spells. Other UI features seem to work fine. Since there hasn’t been an official fix for a long time, I made this hotfix to help players who are running into issues. Just disable debuf indicators (bleed stagger immobilize) and game speed with f4 in your game settings and mod should work properly. If you need to see enemies debufs hold Shift and click on enemy with left mouse button (vanilla hotkey)
After several hours of testing, the bug still appears but only in rare cases. For example, I completed a three dungeon with bandits and everything worked fine. However, the error popped up again during the Battle for Leif.

When this happens, window pops up and no actual spell casting happens but draining the energy cost. Plus once this happens, following other electromancy spell castings fail due to same reason(error windows out, drain energy, nothing happens) (for this case, I've tried chain lightning and short circuit, both failed)
edit1 : happened also on non-electromancy character when using cauterize wounds(survival t1 skill). maybe its not only when electromancy spells casted
Can confirm: same issue here with static field. Seems to be random or intermittent -- doesn't happen every time, but once it starts it doesn't stop until I save/reload.
It have been reported to me a couple of time but I can not reproduce. if you can give me more details of how it had occurred to you I might be able to fix that.
More testing done after base client's updates... sadly this bug is still happening often in some situations.

Most of time I get this error when casting static field and 2ndly, short circuit. Ofcourse other spells/skills can cause this bug but they're rare I think(I've tested so many times but just seen 1 from cauterize wounds, and 1 from first aid) As I said by so many tests, I've noticed several things about this bug...
1. This doesn't happen always, not 100%. 2. About 80% of these happen while in "bastion type dungeons(bandit related dungeons)", this doesn't happen in field nor other types of dungeons much. 3. When this happens, hotbar was flashing oddly and stucking. (Is this the cause? By reffering to the error window, sprite bugs happening? just a guessing though)
Because of this bug, electromancy characters(or electromancy related characters) are almost unplayable. So how about disabling hotbar flashing temporarily?(if it's possible)
Issue: I'm experiencing same bugs mentioned by first guy with the Short-Circuit and Static Field skills as a level 10 Electric Mage(So I'm not sure is there same bugs in other higher level spells).When bugs happen,it will produce a bug report window about GUI,and the spell donot work,my turn is skipped.The bugs occur frequently but not consistently, making them difficult to reproduce reliably. Observations: The issues seem to potentially relate to:
Standing on the Seal of Insight
Activating Seal of Finesse or Seal of Power (Note: The correlation isn't confirmed since the bug occurs intermittently)
Wait,I find a new possibility:I change the location of skill:Examine Surroundings.Maybe that's the reason of bug.bugs window said:[!] GUI Error [!]Script guiCreateInteractive - Object o_static_field_birth is not an interactive object!
I only started playing this game with the Rags to Riches update, so I had no idea what I was missing. Thank you so much for updating it, it's great! For the hunger and thirst indicators, they disappear once you get the game's Hunger and Thirst modifiers.
Would it be possible to create a setting for either of them to stay active so I can see exactly how much hunger I have past 25? For example, daytaler stew with tough meat gives 36% hunger, but even aside from that knowing how close I am to Terrible Hunger will help me figure out how serious I should be about finding food to eat vs pushing through the dungeon.
Or, in a similar vein, an option for more status indicators for things like Hunger resistance and Fatigue resistance so I know when my food buffs run out? It looks like the status kinda shift around randomly at the top so that might make things too cluttered.
i guess it is possible, but i doubt i will add that. i need to figure out a solution for settings menu first. it is getting too long so i dont want to add to many new features XD thanks for the feedback though.
