The camera spins after a cutscene or entering a new area. There also seems to be some fps drops. other than that the mods works well so far.

Yeah, you are correct about this. Though it's not so much spinning, it's just rotating to a different position than default due to my changes.

I think it's more of a breif annoyance rather than anything game-breaking, but I'll look into how it could be fixed. Might be able to script something.

Will rotate 180 degrees to the back
      Looking forward to fixing it

Unfortunately it is how it is for the moment. I know it's a little annoying. I'm looking for a way to "fix" it but unfortunately it must be accepted as a tradeoff until then.

Are camera options A and B meant to be centered? If so, they're slightly off center, as when the camera is steady, and you hold the W key, Eve moves every so slightly to the right instead of straight forward.

I centered them as best as I could. I wasn't really interested in spending hours upon hours to get it absolutely exact if I'm honest, especially when most animations, actions and movements aren't lined up all the same anyway.

This is an awesome mod, endorsed. if it would be possible could you keep the camera adjustments for the lock on target as well, im using option c, and having the camera lock on target in the same position would be nice as i could have the enemy in the center and eve would be offset and would just look more cinematic imo. But great mod :)

Hi OP. I know I'm in the minority but could you perhaps offset the camera abit more? As of now, the character is offset to the left slightly. But I want it to be offset around 20% more.

I actually love offset camera now as its more cinematic for me. Thank you.

I think that might have a negative effect on your gameplay, but I can definitely put that up as an option.

Option C offset is perfect! So far from what I've tested, no issues.

But if you could offset eve the same as option C and have abit of wider fov while being locked on, it would be superb.

As of now, this mod rocks man. Thank you very much!

Fantastic mod. This along with the FOV control cheat engine mod vastly improves the game.
I only wish the camera could be moved a bit closer to Eve without needing to change the FOV as well, is that possible?

Also, If users wanted to change the offset themselves, how would they do that?

Changing it is not such an easy task. Certainly at this stage the mod is quite rudimentary, but watch this space.

    Really nice mod :)
Do you plan on to make a "ranged offset camera mod" aswell? Bit higher FoV and moving the camera a bit back would be much better experience.

Hey can you tell me which component you modified? Was it Eve_CameraFollow or something like that?

I want to add camera position modification in my own script. https://www.nexusmods.com/stellarblade/mods/425?tab=description

And if you're up for it we can also collaborate to make a fully customizable camera overhaul mod if you know how to lua or want to learn.

      GameDesign/Curve/PCCamera

      • Eve_CameraYaw

      • ZOffsetArmLengthCurve

The naming of these assets is odd and it took a lot of testing and experimentation to work this out. Not exactly sure what the different time keys in the curves are for (presumably for different states, but it's ambiguous) - I left them as they are because I don't want to break anything...

I know a bit of LUA and I'm familiar with UE4SS scripting. Send me a PM with your ideas etc and we will see how we can help each other out

      thank you for the mod

and thank you for sharing the name of assets

im not a modder but thankfully i was able to
      edit stats using this article
      https://www.nexusmods.com/stellarblade/articles/22

if it is not too much to ask..
can you share the steps and things/fields we can experiment with?

i mean i was able to open the assets (that you mentioned)
using UAssetGUI after extracting via retoc
      but that is all...

      ====
im also one of those people who want to see more of EVE (actually Raven via face mod) as a whole while playing

thank you so much again for the mod

I'm afraid the full investigative process involves decrypting the archives... Though my method was perfectly legal and permitted, sharing anything about it would be in breach of certain constraints. That's just not a path I'm willing to tread...
