    Hi I love this mod but i found the problem , if our community have chemistry skill now no more craft Strong Stimulants

    I like this mod in spirit, but it feels a bit overpowered, in my opinion. Strong Stimulants only require water and 2 meds with no skill requirements. Meanwhile Energy Drinks (their primary competitor) require 2 food and water, but also require 2 cases of chemicals, cooking and chemistry. At the very least, Strong Stimulants should have an equal requirement. I would personally argue that their requirements should be even higher.

    In case you're interested in rebalancing the mod, I have the following two suggestions, either one will work.


    • Increase the cost of Strong Stimulants and reduce yield. That's 3 bottles at the cost of 2 meds + 2 cases of chemicals. Additionally, require water and knowledge of Pharmacology (same as Strong Painkillers).
    • Introduce a new item: Stimulant Pill Press, exclusive to the infirmary. The Pill Press would allow creating 6 bottles Strong Stimulants with no skill or water consumption, and at the cost of only 2 meds - same as it is now. It would appear in any drop tables where the regular pill press may appear.
    • Technically the same as 2 - add this function to the existing Pill Press, rather than creating a new item. It already enables discounted Strong Painkiller production.
    Ideally, I'd go for both 1 and 2. Allow crafting in the Infirmary with water and pharmacology, or discounted crafting via pill press.

    Couldn't get this to work properly. I tried using Vortex to download and install it and I tried to manually install it, both had the same outcome. The graphic and description were there but it would still only craft "Weak Painkillers". Only tried on an existing save.

      I've never used vortex so i can't say if it would be successful with that, but it should definitely be working with a manual download. Do you use the mod manager? This mod doesn't need integration, but it may show if it conflicts with another mod. Existing save or not - it should work either way.

      Same. It's only a cosmetic change. You still get weak painkillers when you craft them.

      Well, it took a while to finish the colony that I was playing on and started a new one and that was the problem. Apparently, this mod will not work properly on existing playthroughs. But I started two new colonies just to make sure and it does work on them. So if anyone has this problem try starting a new game.
