It only does one thing - though that one thing changes the landscape of the game dramatically.
Every single zombie bite, whether that be from a 'normal' zombie or a 'plague' variant, now instantly kills the character that gets bitten - this includes every character and npc in the game (except for some essential quest related characters in some specific circumstances). All freaks are still present with their full murderous capabilities.
Please be warned - IF A CHARACTER GETS BITTEN, THEY DIE INSTANTLY. There is no blood plague after bite, there is no second chance, they are gone, for good, eternal non-existence. Hopefully that's clear enough.
This feature has been imported from the amazing Walking Dead series of mods available here on the nexus - and it was initially requested by me so I could publicly include it in a challenge scenario, which I intend to create a "Nexus Collection" for. If you want the details of the challenge, please read on, otherwise go have fun
The No-Chill Challenge
I invented this challenge because I was looking for a way to level up my skills in SoD2 quickly. I watch amazing players like Brian Menard and Guru Gaming and I get so inspired by seeing them tackle the game the way they do - then I would quietly cry in a corner because I couldn't even handle Nightmare Zone, let alone Lethal Zone - and those guys play DARKSIDE!!
So, I needed to come up with a solution. How could I level up my game fast to eventually have enough skill to play on Lethal Zone and then maybe, just maybe, DARKSIDE?
And so this challenge was born.
I learned how to use the Asset Editor to isolate my favorite features from DarksideTWD, those being One-Bite Kill and the Upgraded Vehicles along with a few other key elements from other mods, No Zombie Eye Glow, 4X Faster Zombies (Currently Not Implemented), Upgraded Zombie's Sight and 300% Increased Zombie Spawns and combine them into a single pak file. In other words, I MADE THE GAME SO HARD FOR MYSELF I WAS FORCED TO GET GOOD, REAL GOOD, SO GOOD, OR DIE AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN TRYING (I'm still trying. I can't beat this

The Official Rules of The Challenge
Firstly I want to say obviously you are welcome to use this mod in any capacity in any way you enjoy, but I promise if you follow the rules of this challenge and attempt the game it will make you
1. Start a fresh community with no boons.
2. You are free to use any 3 survivors you can roll in the community creation screen (they won't last long - they probably won't all make it to the starter base).
3. You MUST start on a RANDOM MAP on GREEN ZONE.
4. Kill all the plague hearts on GREEN ZONE then move map and INCREASE DIFFICULTY LEVEL BY ONE.
5. Continue this process of killing all the hearts on each map then migrating to a new map which you haven't yet been on throughout the challenge.
6. The challenge is complete after KILLING THE FINAL PLAGUE HEART on LETHAL ZONE.
7. You CANNOT miss a single Zombie Base Siege (the one with the 10 minute countdown to return to base) - if you do you fail the challenge (glitches, game crashes excepted).
8. No use of prestige points under any circumstance.
9. Use all of - and only - the mods listed below.
10. No use of radio called vehicles, ie. Impaler, Burninator, etc they're too overpowered for freak/zombie defense.
11. No use of Haven Device.
Additional Notes
Aside from the rules outlined above you can do whatever you want to survive within the gameworld. There are no limits upon recruitment from within the map (aside from not using prestige). Use influence in any capacity to do anything you like.
The Speedy Zombies mod is not yet implemented as I'm seeking to contact the mod author to potentially make a version that only affects Zombies and leaves freaks untouched.
These additional notes will be updated as more people attempt the challenge and potential rule exploits are revealed - and maybe as the game updates.
Final Comment
I love State of Decay 2. I love playing it and I love watching other people play it. I'm offering this challenge to the SoD2 community not because I think I have some authority in this game (my hilarious attempts to attack this challenge speak for themselves) but because I know a lot of people get to the point where Lethal isn't challenging for them and I just want to share this with them for their enjoyment. I also love the idea of generating fresh interest and entertaining content to help this game live on and continue to thrive into the foreseeable future while we all wait for SoD3 - AND it is so entertaining to watch the knife edge gameplay content that this challenge generates, that's what made me fall in love with the Walking Dead mods at the very beginning of my SoD2 journey. So ultimately I hope I'm giving something back to the game, its developers and the modding community.
The Mods, Install Instructions & Load Order
The mods are listed in the same order as the suggested load order.
There should be ZERO CONFLICTS within this load order - if there are, your installation has gone wrong somewhere.
I recommend downloading each mod manually, extracting and adding it to the Pak folder in your Local\StateOfDecay2\Saved folder in the same order you downloaded it - you can refer to the screenshot in the images tab to ensure your load order looks the same.
0. SoD2 Mod Manager
Once all mods have been downloaded and placed in the Pak folder, use this to create an integration mod.
1. This Mod Has No-Chill (this mod)
2. Realistic Vehicle Inventories
MAIN FILE + REALISTIC VEHICLE BIGGER FUEL TANKS
3. Upgraded Zombie's Sight
Use the "increase only 50% of zombie's sight" optional file
4. Increase Zombie Spawn Rate
Take either the 100% increase option, or the 300% increase option. For a lot of players there won't be too many issues until you reach NIGHTMARE and/or LETHAL. You may want to test these modes out before beginning the challenge. I didn't and came to regret it once I saw the insanity of 300% NIGHTMARE spawns.
