For steam users it's C:\Users\"your computer name here"\AppData\Local\StateOfDecay2\Saved
Place the "Cooked" folder inside the "Saved" folder and you're good to go. (Note if you're using other mods such as the 100 slot vehicle inventory you'll find there's already a "Cooked" folder in the Saved one, in which case simply drag and drop this mods into the Saved folder and say yes to the overwrite prompt. (It will simply move the modded files for this mod into the preexisting folders, and won't mess up the other mod/s at all.)
Due to the way the files are organized, unless there is a specific change to a bolt-action weapon, these changes will persist without issue. So if the devs change bolt action damage, rate of fire, mag size, or add a new one, this mod will use old values and not adjust new weapons.
It's always good for a modder to put a readme.txt in with the mod. Users will then have a easy to access file with instructions whenever they open the mod archive.

Endorsed.
Update: Still works!
Many thanks mod author, this make things a lil more even for bolt action rifles.

Edit: Working fine as of U19.
