kinda weird for me it wouldnt work when i put the content/loot/ files like that... it didnt work. once i copied the .uasset file by itself into content. then it worked.
Sorry I'm still new to modding and modding for this game is so complicated to me through windows. I have the searchsettings.uasset but i have no idea what to do now. It wont let me drag anything to mod manager...
where should i put it for the epic games version? I don't have the Microsoft.Dayton_8wekyb3d8bbwe folder. It's not working when i put it in Epic Games -> State of Decay 2 -> State of Decay 2 -> Content folder. Or does this just not work on v28?
You know I ignored this mod for far too long on the thought that this was a core mechanic of the game, but then it dawned on me that the only difference between using this mod and just resisting the urge to loot faster, is time. A few seconds every time you wanna loot something, which in this game, quickly adds up to so much stop and go moments of mini loading screens that are just ruining the pacing and making the games looting feel more tedious than it needs to.
So you know what? God bless this mod for making the game ever so slightly less annoying after a long day of work. I'll save my ass getting bit for when I fire gunshots or other more appropriate punishments of creating noise.
