    Don't bother with this. Instead, do the following:

    Go to the configuration file(s) location ( %LOCALAPPDATA%\StateOfDecay2\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\ )
    Edit Game.ini.
    Add the following lines:
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    [/Script/MoviePlayer.MoviePlayerSettings]
    bWaitForMoviesToComplete=False
    bMoviesAreSkippable=True
    StartupMovies=
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Enjoy.

      Hell yeah, I didn't even consider an .ini edit.  Nice work =)

      For MS Store edition, here's the folder

      C:\Users\???\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Dayton_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Local\StateOfDecay2\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

      As of a semi-recent patch the .ini modifications don't work and this file replacement is the way to go.  I've been out of touch with the game so I'm basically just going off what Zod told me in the SOD2 discord based on his experience in the support channel haha

      2/1/2024 EDIT: DO NOT DO THIS UNLESS YOU INTEND TO PLAY OFFLINE PERMANENTLY.
      After testing by reinstalling the game more than 3 times in the last hour, (Microsoft Windows Version of the Game) I can confirm that once you edit the Game.INI file, it will not allow you to play CO-OP or Daybreak. In other words? Absolutely No Multiplayer. It doesn't matter if you delete the Game.INI File you edited to let the game create a new Game.INI file, it will simply not let you play online anymore until you UNINSTALL THE GAME and then REINSTALL IT as far as I can tell. I don't know why this happens.

      Because of this, I had to reinstall all my Mods and wasted an hour of my life lol. I will see if simply deleting the Intro movie file will do the trick. Hopefully, it will not lock me from Multiplayer again.

      I TRIED THIS MOD AND ANOTHER FROM A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO FOUND HERE IN NEXUS AS WELL, BOTH METHODS/MODS FAILED. I did everything right, including the "mark file as READ-ONLY" step) and it wouldn't work but this simple .ini edit got rid of those pesky intro videos. Thank you so much! - February 1 2024!

    As of  Update 36, you can go to:
    \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\StateOfDecay2\StateOfDecay2\Content\Movies

    or just find the file named:
    Logos.bk2

    Delete it (I cut and pasted mine to a different location just in case I break the game somehow)

    Does not work for me. Made several attempts via the instructions exactly as described. MS Store Edition.

      Did you make the file read only? I had no issues on both steam and MS store

    As simple as this mod is, I really appreciate that you made this. I'm extremely sensitive to sound and this intro is always so damn loud and I always forget to turn down the audio (esp when I'm in a call with someone.) So thanks for this mod, it's really saving me a headache

      Glad you like it, I can empathize with sound sensitivity
