Dont think it works for me, have the newest mod manager, only stay dead mod active, newest version on sod 2
Do i need some other mods for it to work?
Because its dosent start as other here has described, no big hordes or overmelming with zombies, just dead quiet
Do i need to wait for spawns to build up?
    Plz help

It starts out slow for just a little while, but by evening same starting day will start sending out huge hordes, at least in my two time experience, first playing with this mod and then second time adding the 125 plague hearts from the Increase or Decrease Hearts mod. Is only rough for a bit until you clear an area of plague hearts, then the zombies in that particular area dwindle down to hardly any, though still any locations with plague hearts will still have a lot of zombies, though even that will lessen the more you kill. This mod actually makes the game easier for me, so disabled it and am now attempting the 125 plague hearts with another mod, Freak Mix, which is killing me.

So I hadn't played State of Decay 2 in over a year until a couple weeks ago because when I had played it in the past I had a gaming laptop with a graphic card that was able to run the game on mostly the highest settings well, but that laptop died and I got a cheap old thinkcentre pc that I got only because that is all I was able to afford and at that time only expected to play older games (NES, SNES, Genesis, PS1, that sorta thing) but to my surprise was able to play Just Cause 2 no issues, and Skyrim though at lower settings, but State of Decay 2 was far too choppy to be playable, until recently when I delved a bit deeper, looking for some way I could play it. Normally the game doesn't give you many screen size options, but like I had done with Skyrim, I found the ini file that needed to be tweaked and changed what I needed to to make it work. I changed to resolution sizes to 720 by 405 and while framerate is a tad low is also mostly consistent and very playable and so playing using keyboard and mouse, something I've had to get accustomed to since my controller went caput over a month ago, I was able on Nightmare difficulty to beat Drucker County, Meagher Valley and Cascade Hills, but then was going to try Providence Ridge but the whole start location area, I think because of the excess trees is so choppy (single digit framerate) is unplayable until I go away from that area to a less tree cluttered spot, and that's when I came here looking for mods, specifically something to maybe remove some of the trees, found nothing, but I did find this mod here.

I installed the mod manager, this mod for the Realistic Respawn with only two other mods, Hostile Enclave Health Bars and Default Layered T-Shirts Integrated, yeah, that's it for now, and started another game on Nightmare, in Trumbull Valley, and it was a crazy hard start with the largest hordes average 32 zombies, with rare times that it was as high as 35 and 40, and that first plague heart at the warehouse area up the road which is usually easy because I block the windows with a vehicle or two now had far more zombies as well as a Juggernaut which moved and heavily damaged my car and pickup truck allows zombies to get in and so I had to retreat and come back and try again, and an enclave asking for plague heart pieces moved in and so after I crushed that heart gave them two of them but then a short bit later they were all killed because a screamer summoned the hordes which looked to be neverending, 60, 80, 100 or more on screen, I dunno because even though I killed many, many more rushed in as well as other freaks, it was insane, and I am amazed at my computer that it was able to handle all of that. A few game days in and my community of 3 were starving and I was still trying to recover from heavy injuries and sickness, so I took my pickup which was smoking over to two of the easier plague hearts to defeat, those ones in those lone standing metal sheds in the fields at the center of the map, drove my truck in and took out each without much issue, things gradually started to get easier after that, and after a few more plague hearts destroyed I noticed that the zombie hordes were also getting smaller.

After over a dozen in game days, most locations cleared, plague hearts all destroyed, community finally moved to that Pterodactyl Ptark since having got another member to my team when I was a few plague hearts left, a few more joined as I waited for the leader thing to show up, it never did, I turned the game off and back on, oh good, just a glitch, the legacy thing appeared, but then those people, Micky and that doc lady sent their message to help with Cleo, made my leader quest disappear again, so I went over there and told them I didn't want any part of it, leave me alone! The Legacy thing reappeared, still took a while per usual for anything to happen. I have only been doing Warlord lately because Sherriff is way too much waiting in between those missions and I can't stand Trader and Builder, and Warlord is short, even though there are a lot of enemies, but there was going to be something different this time than any other, lack of zombies, never seen the place so desolate, I wasn't going to get that zombie aide that I usually have. Without zombies to help me (one battle only had a single military one show up) the battles were more dangerous, I nearly died a few times, my truck nearly wrecked running these bandits over, and over so many times, and when the guntotters were dead or separated them using my truck and the inside of a shed, fighting melee against a single foe that just didn't want to die, was scarier than having to watch out for bloaters and the big guy which usually helped me win against cheap hostile humans. The final battle, at that old warehouse base in Marshall there was a single Juggernaut so I honked him over, he fought one of them while I took out the other two, bloater gas grenades killed one and the other multiple shotgun blasts.

Ok, so i start at trumbull valley with new community, and i dont see it, no 32 hordes or tons of zombies
Its almost nothing around, played for like 40 min, waked up pleague hearts just to see if that boosted some zombs
Even reinstalled Sod2 and and added only stay dead mod, still dont get it to work :(
  6. I've been playing the mod I commissioned from you on Lethal Difficulty, it's so brutal I love it. I've not even made it past the 1st base, lost 4 members, survived 3 sieges, destroyed 9/104 plague hearts and had too many close calls, become a master of stealth, running out of everything, using everything. And all this in a few in-game days. It is truly wonderful. Thanks again, HELLFIRE.

This mod is a dream come true; for years I suggested to UL that as an option you could clear the map of zombies as an actual achievement.
You can alter the amount also with this mod. Awesome job mgdc! Now you've made the game better, content wise and given it a much needed boost. No longer do you like complete a legacy  where the leader says you've "taken back a town" when there are still endlessly spawning zombies all over the place, and you've managed to get rid of the ridiculous spawn system.

Does this mod works with Beyond Lethal &/ Growing Threat mods?
If another heart spawns does the zombie spawn also increase?

Brilliantly coded mod - works exactly as specified in description. Latest SOD2 build update 38.  @MGDC, you're GOOD man.  As a new player I just completed my second pass of Providence Ridge legacy while using this mod for a little flavor.  There is something truly satisfying about knowing the hard work, strategy employed, maneuvering and Zombie Killing you the player puts into the hordes is actually returned with a growing safe zone.  Wiping out plague hearts, Freaks, and the assorted zombies is actually rewarded.  Its a real alternative sense of achievement when done this way.  A different dynamic to the Undead Labs out of box "increase in volume" of Zombies over time and constant re-spawning even after clearing an area.  The zombie culling in your Mod is very intuitive and your gifted reverse community standing scripting actually works, it truly maintains territory clearing afterwards.  So much so, that I actually had to hunt in a vehicle for 15 minutes the entire map for a single Juggernaut to execute for a final side mission very late in the game - a hilarious side effect to actually clearing the map with "safe zone" coding that WORKS.

I did my pass with totally random generic character rolling, not even looking at the skillsets to make it more challenging. I did not need to inject red talon anything, no freebie DLC drops, just played smart, built out a zombie destroying community one survivor at a time, looted the WHOLE map building by building and conquered.  Maybe in Lethal I might have been wiped out, but i'm not at that level yet.  In "dread" difficulty the added absurd volume of the hordes at the start was actually AWESOME.  No complaints here.  Fun is fun, I call it like I see it.  Thank you for contributing this fantastic mod for us to enjoy.  Great work.
