About this mod

Modifies the CLEO weapons and ammo to be an excellent choice for Lethal zone and harder modded difficulties.
The weapons will feel worth the effort to use, maintain and most importantly: Unlock.
This is Not a 'Cheat' mod. No infinite anything.

It has always bothered me that an Advanced AI with access to prototype composite materials and essentially infinite combat data designs guns that are outperformed by guns designed in the 1940s to regular day (IE the Bounty Packs). Lorewise it was unsatisfying.
This mod started as a personal mod but a few of my friends liked it and convinced me to post it.

Red Talon was throwing soldiers and Technicians into the meat grinder for weapons many wouldn't even seriously bring into Dread Zone when they already have the RTX series of equipment. It was insane.
Now the weapons are tweaked to be a better fit in the higher difficulties and make Daybreak easier for CLEO only with any of the Main weapons.
Please note: This is not a cheat mod. You will not find any 'Infinite' or 'Max All Stats' versions of these weapons. They should be satisfying to use though- more than the vanilla ones at least.

An Example is the SMG: It had it's ammo count reduced but the damage slightly increased with a faster reload. And selectable fire-rates. Give it a try, quite fun imo.

Changes Summary:
Some weapons are more accurate, some have wider spread, some are lighter, some have more power, ammo counts have been altered to increase usability and efficiency (Both increases and decreases exist), weapon speed (Rate OF fire, selectable fire and reloads), and projectile counts have been changed for most/all weapons.

Weight has been altered to typically be more in line with standard weapons- though a few were made heavier to match their new lethality (Notably some of the Melee options)

As well the ranged weapons have the ability for a weapon tip to be attached. The weapons as they are are pretty powerful but a tip can be added to modify them further for user tastes.
Some weapons have been drastically changed while others have barely been touched.

The prestige trader sells more ammo than before, which can be grabbed once every 90 or so minutes after cooldown. This should make regular use of the weapons more feasible.

The weapons will feel powerful in the lower difficulties but are made for use in Lethal zone and modded harder difficulties. As long as you can keep up with repairs and ammo costs they will feel worth the effort.

Big thanks to the SOD2 Modding Discord for helping me develop the mod

I tested it for a week and it seems to play well with any mod that doesn't touch the CLEO weapons, ammo or the Prestige Trader.
If it affects the ammo make sure this one has higher priority.

The high cost for repair is part of the balance- I suggest using the RT Workshop or buying duplicates from the Prestige Trader.

Prestige trader sells a more viable amount of CLEO ammo too.

PLEASE NOTE: SUPPRESSORS- When you add a suppressor to a CLEO weapon it will be completely silent to you (the player) but enemies will react to the gunshot.  This is due to the game not having any sound file for suppressed CLEO weapons, my attempts to add them from other weapons (Or use the standard sound) caused my game to crash. For stability I decided not to f around at risk of finding out.
