   So, I think this mod won't let us put injured survivors on infirmary beds, because when I tried, even though I had a few survivors with injuries and trauma, the game still won't let me put them there. Therefore, the bonuses only apply when there is a survivor with blood plague on the bed. Am I missing something?

      Read the post again, it says it lets you apply bonuses ONLY if you let your character go check in.
