I appreciate it. It reminds me that I need to upload my finished/unfinished Lily Ritter and friends pack. I got hung up on trying to get Lily into Lifeline.
This mod conflicts with too many other mods - use Vortex mod launcher to play this game and create separate profiles so you can disable the mods that show up as conflicting with this one so you can use this in game, but be aware that you will have to forfeit the use of several other mods for just this one
"I didn't read the ReadMe.txt, therefore this mod is broken." The problem with tools like Vortex is that it makes people too reliant on it and net-perts on modding. Vortex does not and cannot do line-by-line analysis nor decryption on a per game basis. Its "file diagnosis" is as useful as painting by numbers. If you read my ReadMe, which has been available for many years now, then you'd be able to merge my mod with other mods that share a similar file in less than 5 mins. There wouldn't be a need for you to make a separate profile or do anything outside what I've already mentioned to other users. There are plenty of other mods in SOD1, SOD2, and games in general that share modified files. Just because a simplified reporting tools says Mod A and Mod B share a file it doesn't mean they are broken or incompatible. My mod works just fine alongside other SOD1 mods. I not only tested the compatibility myself, but unlike some others, I actually explain how to make them compatible on the users' end. Before you make such hyperbolic statements such as "conflicts with too many other mods", on any mod, ask for help first from the MA or other users, peruse the comment section, and/or read the ReadMes or other documentation. I think I can speak for other MAs in saying don't make a habit out of using Vortex or any other mod manager diag as affirmation that something is wrong or not working as designed then leaving a comment saying as such. Always ask.
really wish i knew how to mod these files. downloaded this one to test it but after looking it is the same file as the all skilled and hero survivors stay home mod wish i knew what i was doing so i could merge these 2 somehow.
Most of everything you need to know is in the ReadMe.txt. Use a file compare tool like Beyond Compare or DocDiff to compare and merge the files. I specifically point out what needs to be copied over.
Looks great if not for the fact that Lilly follows you. If she stayed at home like normal this would be perfect because she would fill any expert role you need.
I'm failing to understand your complaint. There are mods that keep skilled survivors at home to prevent them from becoming sick, getting lost, or getting killed. That has no bearing on the usage. You do NOT have to use Lily as a follower. That's merely a bonus. You can unlock facilities and get their bonuses whether she is in your party or not. Furthermore I added traits to Lily that prevent her from becoming sick and if you accidentally get her killed, she'll respawn once you exit and re-enter the game. She operates just fine as a primary skilled survivor, a back up skillsperson, or both as a specialist and follower. She fills all the roles in Story and Breakidown as advertised. That was the entire point of this matter. As a matter of fact I was sitting on an update that would've brought her into Lifeline as well but found Alicia Hawkes functions better in that role so I let it be.
I'm looking at your download history and it shows you haven't even downloaded my mod. Please do not speculate about a potential problem when you haven't even tried the goods yet. If you see a problem then report it and I'll have a look at it.
This mod doesn't have an "installer" or install process. You have to add the configuration manually or D&D. Read the ReadMe.txt. It's very detailed and should cover just about any situation you come across as far as merging and conflicts.
I really want to try out this mod but I don't know how to open the .xin files without it being alien language to me. The keep crash into character personality fix mod. Any way you can add this files along with the personality fix ?
According to the link (https://forums.undeadlabs.com/threads/heroes-unable-to-change-moods.48450/page-7) provided by the mod you pointed out, this mod is no longer valid because it was patched (https://forums.undeadlabs.com/threads/yose-content-update-4-patch-notes.51258/) (if I'm to assume this is what they are referencing as "perma-grim"). Besides that, I couldn't merge those changes without the permission of two different authors anyway.

You may want to find a silencer early on. js
Quite a few hesitant comments here, so here's a comment endorsing the greatness of this mod. 😊
