it doing what it has to but not always . it doesn't happen often but some times zombies can climb stuff but about 98% of the time they cant and they start running at the door instead . very immersive i like it thank u for making these mod :)
so I dunno what I'm doing wrong... I don't have YOSE, so that's probably why it's not working. But I put the statemachines folder into the libs directory, however, when I come in a few feet of a zombie the game crashes. Could it be a conflicting error with one of my other "mods"? I'm only using the 'George Romero mod', 'NPCs use guns BETA', 'Realistic Shadows mod' and 'The Realistic Flashlight Mod'.
I tried replacing 'Barbedwirr' with 'Barbedwire' and 'wirr' with 'wire'. Nothing still...
I also noticed there is some xbox crap in there too. I'm on PC.
Is there another mod around that prevent zombies from climbing crap?
NMM doesn't always work. Especially for SoD. You are better off creating a backup of the game folder and doing it all yourself. I've added plenty of mods and they all work perfectly (at least the mods that aren't broken or conflict, anyhow).
Choose manual download.
Open the downloaded .rar file with WinRAR (or 7-zip, my personal favourite for this sort of thing).
Within the zipped file, select either "only barbed wire" or "no jump for everything", depending on what effect you are after. Enter the desired folder.
Copy the "Game" folder in the option you picked into the game's main folder, typically situated at this location if you haven't installed the game elsewhere: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\State of Decay YOSE
Start up the game.
Bear in mind, the mod isn't quite 100% functional. I say that due to the fact that I've noticed zombies having trouble climbing over most things, rather than just the barbed fences (an issue I'm dealing with, if anybody has a solution or insight into why this is happening?).

Controlling Zed's Jump Height (if you want): --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- after copied my statemachine files into your game directories, now you can modified game/libs/libs3.1/zombie/zombietypes.xml to change how high zed can jump for example you want the zed only can jump through the window. so you need to look for every single "<markupdef ....." tag like this:
change the MaxHeight to 0.5 and MinHeight to 0.1 do the same way for the other markupdef except MarkupTag="window" and for that just change MaxHeight to 1.5 and MinHeight to 0.5 final step just change Flags="" to Flags="modification/redundancy" for every single markupdef save your zombietypes.xml and convert to bmd files run your game
I have download this mod but when i try to active it with the NMM it's mark : "A problem occured during install: this packtage does not met the layout standards for State of Decay mods. which is not supported. The mod was not installed."
So i try to install the mod manually but unfortunately the mod don't work for me because zombies still climb. I use the YOSE version of the game.
It doesn't seem to work for me.. both version still let the zeds climbed up the barbed wire fence.
I put the mod on ..Game\libs\statemachines\ and the only other mod that I use is "QMJS Extended Functions YOSE" that shouldn't conflict with this mod (probably ).

I have downloaded the mod to my StateofdecayYOSE/Game folder, but I can't seem to see where the files need to be extracted to?
Also, does a new game need to be started for this to take effect?
