In this world you shall haven't any idea of how to build a infirmary.. Or how to craft a suppressor!
You didn't have need a suppressor before today!!
You are hungry.. Weak.. Tired.. And Afraid!!
The zombies is become the only sure thing in this world.. And you shall reach tomorrow!!


In my vision, for an ordinary person is not so easy "set up" a  functional survival camp: Learn to survive at a new hostile world takes time... Whether it's a zombie apocalypse or lost in a jungle! This mod seeks to avoid the usual "getting bored" of Breakdown.. Add realism, hard gamplay and slow down progress into the atmosphere of SoD Zombie Apocalypse with trhee major changes:

- Simulate the progressive knowledge development of a survivors group along with the mortality rate of the zombies!
- Make the world a very dangerous  place: More survival difficulty, more hostile and less resource-rich.
- Make you be afraid of zombies.

Unlike other "Realistic Mod" I focused on reproduce the adaptation and evolution progres that leads a group of common civillian to become fit to live in an Apocalyptic world: At first you will manage with whatever you find, aiming for "not die"!! As time goes on (and charcters die) you discover a better way to live: Unlocks better facilities, better craft items, better equipe and  charcter skilling!
This Mod it's for those who want a FUN challenge and gameplay!!

I don't like the classic static mod that force who download it to play only in the vision  which the Creator has of the game!
Everyone has their own tastes and every one likes to enjoy the game in their own way..
For this reason I decided to add many variations to offer at players the widest possible space to customization of my work!

  • Tweaked techs logical connections for a more realistic progress!
  • Add Craftman job inside workshop facility!
  • Add "Vehicles Redone Mod": Tweaked the speed, suspension, brake and handling of vehicles for a more realistic car driving expirience!!
  • Tweaked suppressors uses: 15 for Improvised, 50 for Homemade and 150 for Machined.
  • Add Customized options for Breakdown difficulty -> Add sandboxe Flavours: More or Less zombie density, More or Less Freaks, More or Less BD Levels.
  • Add Customized options for Zombie Damage -> Add ActorConstant Flavours: 4 levels of Damage -> Normal, Hard, very Hard and Extreme.


WARNINGS: The "Vehicles Redone Mod" has a serious bug: Cargo of cars missing!! Sorry for the mistake.. Under the testing i miss it!!
Uninstall it until i make an update of the mod! How to unistal Vehicles Redone:

1) Go in the base game directory "...\Steam\SteamApps\common\State of Decay\Game\scripts\entities"
2) Simply delette the "Vehicles" folders.

BUG FIX:
- Fixed some texts.
- (UNDER TESTING) Fixed a bug that activate permantly the Otupost trap action! (shuld it works)
- Fixed a bug that give materials instead of medicine in Medical Lab "TradeOpp".
- Fixed a bug on McReady Farmhouse that didn't show the texture of Builtin Greenhouse (first grow)!
- Fixed a bug of Techs system that didn't allow player to unlock Food Storage if move on McReady Farmhouse!

|World|​
All is gone.. Zeds are everywhere and spread quickly!! Working vehicles are in short supply and the deads number increase day by day...
Going forward on the outbreak you will find fewer and fewer cars.. Fewer and fewer survivors... Fewer and fewer resources.. The only thing that will increase shall be Zombies!!
Beware of infected areas: You must do a good use of resources and make sure you're well equipped for scavengings.. Especially during the darkness.
Be smart and use every tool available to arrange a cover behind your character and the noise makers to create a distraction... You'll need it!!

  • Hard progressive difficulty: Hard Breakdown levels.
  • Drastically reduce auto cap: Set to 25 at level 1, down to 1 at highest levels! Cars are rare treasures.. Take care of them!
  • Reduce survivors cap: Set to 60/30 at level 1, down to 6/3 at highest levels! Peoples are Diyng.. Only the strongest survive!! More will go on .. Less and less NPC's Enclave you meet.
  • Dangerous infected Area: Increased all threats to your survival.
  • Increased Max Hordes/Infestetions: Set both to 20 at level 1, up to 160 at highest levels!
  • Increased spawn chance of "Intercepts Horde" events and the max number of hordes inside: Zeds attacks Home.
  • Increased zombie Horde size number: Big Horde.
  • Increased zombie Infestation size number: Big Infestetion.
  • Decrased Infestations spread time: Spread quiclky.
  • Increased Zombie number inside buildings: Be carefully.
  • Decresed Respawn rate: Zeds make more time for coming back.. Simulate clearing Area!
  • UAV Hide zombie Blips: Watch your backs.. No place are safe!
  • Increased damage for falling, explosives and jump from moving vehicles: Take care of wath you doing... Zeds aren't the only danger!
  • Stone Age: Less Home options at the start of the game.. The groups knowledge of the world Restart today. (Look to "The Techs Tree" features)
  • No more Zombie glowing Eyes: Be afraid of the dark! (Credit to CymanPhoneix with NoGlowingZedEyes)
  • Cars cargo capacity increase: More inventory space for Vehicles (Credit to SilentResident with Realistic Rucks in Trucks)
  • Vehicles redone: More realistic speed, suspension, brake and handling.. Check the features for more info (Add Vehicles Redone mod of Sabatasso, credito to him)
  • Mt Tanner Bridge repaired: Enjoy scavenging around Rangers Station area. (Credit to WilliamSea with Mt Tanner Bridge Fixed)
  • Customize your Breakdown difficulty: More or Less zombie density, more or less Freaks spawn and more or less BD Levels!! (Look to the text files for more details)

|Zombies|
Each zombie is a danger to your characters.. Improve your avoid skill if you want they return at home alive.
But even worse they feel you, move quietly and be stealthy!
The days of Rambo is over.. Now zeds force you to use Guns and to escape from a mass of them!

  • Imcreased aggro/deaggro distance: More aggressive zeds..
  • Increased field of view: They have a bit more vision.
  • Increased investigation time/distance: They don't forget about you anymore and seek for your flesh longer.
  • Increased player individuation: Deads feel you.. Be Stealthy!!
  • Echo distance increase: Pay attention to sounds.
  • Increased player Sprint noise: Sprint only when it's safe or you have no others choice! (Credit to "MrDeath" with Nightmare Mode)
  • Increased Backpack and  Rucksuck noise: Loot for resources requires caution!!
  • Random clav damage: Claw damage based on chance.. Some times left, some times hurts! (Credit to "MrDeath" with Nightmare Mode)
  • Increased Juggernout and Feral damage: Freaks are the most dangerous Zeds.. Don't forget it!
  • Incresed zombie hidden Ambush spawn chance: Not all zeds are alike.
  • Incresed knocked down penalty tax: Do not get eaten by zombies.
  • Customize your Damage style: 4 Leves -> Normal, Hard, Very Hard and Extreme (Look to the text files for more details)


|Characters|
Levelling up charcters takes more time now and their Survival rate it's VERY low... Try to not become too attached at them!
Remember: Only the fighting expert have a survival chance in close combat against a mass of zeds!

  • Fighting skilled character take less damage: Only the Best can figth zombies and come back to tell the tale!
  • Increased effectiveness of Painkillers: Balance the hard damage.
  • Incresed uses of Suppressors: 15 for Improvised, 50 for homemade and 150 for Machined
  • Follow NPC Tweked: Takes friends with you now requires only 50 influence points and it lasts four times longer!
  • Increased Skill LevelUP time: Become strong enough for this world it's HARDER!
  • Add new Exp Gain: Stealth kill give exp in Wits, meele kill give few exp in Cardio and gun kill give few exp in Reflexes.
  • More difference and balance from Gun Mastery and Melee Mastery: Now charceter with Gun Mastery have better moves than people skilled only in Shooting! Speacialist shuld be more stronger with Guns than a normal charcter.
  • Revolver Expertise tweaked: Add Reload Speed and Aim Move at first level of Revolver Mastery.. You have immediately a progressive super cannon calibrer with higth speed reloading and fast move aiming! Now choosing to specialize on this weapon is more attractive and competitive.
  • Rifle Expertise redone: Added 50% Spread and other 90% Recoil along with Snap Targeting Distance!! On this way you get the same accuracy environment of SnapTarget but useful with the Mouse&Keyboard gamplay... Make this mastery more competitive and a must for stealth.
  • Customize your characters Specializations: Allow the characters specialize even further in two Weapon Specializations or two Special Techniques or both of them!! (Look to the text files for more details)

|Homesite|
I added several functions to the home base and improve some of them! As explained into the intro this mod simulate the progressive knowledge development of a survivors group: So you will need to unlock all the features before taken advantage of all the benefits that your home can offer!

  • More population and materials required for better home: 15 people and 60 materials for big.. 8 people and 40 amterials for medium.. Big Home requires Big Party!
  • All builIn Facilities are FULLY UPGRADABLE: Who said I can't improve my house?
  • Add one next level for Bedroom and Bunkhouse: Give another +4 beds for a total of 12 beds!
  • Add new trade Option on Car Shop and Medical Lab: Train outsider in Fortification (+5 Materials) and Health Care (+3 Meds).
  • Add "Sell Resources" task in the Radio Room: Send 2 survivors to sell stockpile of any resources for influence.. Requires an enclave with which trade! (Credit to HaydnScarlett with his Crafting Mode)
  • Increased Skill expert needs: Characters with base skills (medical, gardening, cooking, etc.) are much needed now.. Find them!
  • Increased the Labor costs and requirements to most tasks: A low population base will have to decide what to prioritise, because they may not have enough people to use each option at once.
  • Replaced the white color of tent with camo: More coolest homesite. (Credit to Viatus18 with Camo Tents Mod)
  • Techs system complety rebuild: Facilities, items and actions must first be researched on the Library! (Look to "The Techs Tree" features)
  • Craft system complety rebuild: Add more craft options. (Look to "The Craft System" features)
  • Improve Church, Alamo, McRady Farm and Rodeo Base: More homesite choice is better than three.


ALAMO:
1. Add +10 stamina bonus in the Refrigerated Stoorage: Simulates the better efficiency of a restaurant fridge!
(Warnings: Tech taken from Exercise RTSAction of Traning Area: Not comulative if you built trainingo on Alamo)
2. Add Meele Combat Training in Shooting Platform (Upgraded BuiltIn Tower): Simulates a potential Combat Training on the terrace of Alamo.. Requires a Fitness Expert!!
(Warnings: Tech taken from Meele Combat RTSAction of Dojo: Not comulative if you built dojo on Alamo)
Notes: Due to BuiltIn, Alamo has space for only 3 obligatory facilities: Bunkhouse, Workshop, Infirmary!! Now the home is more sustainable and allows us to enjoy the best strategic point for Scavenging!

CHURCH:
1. Add first Stoorage level inside Kitchen (20 of each stockpile): Simulates a little space for stoorage in the Kitchen of the Church.. Textures make the idea through the boxes on the floor!
Notes: The church has the advantage of owning bedrooms instead of Alamo's Storage! Adding a little storage space inside kitchen allows us to use space for better options...
Same point of Alamo: Less buff.. Ones more facilities space for whatever you prefer!!

FARM:
1. Change builtin bunkhouse in Greenhouse: It's a Farm.. Ok? A garden is a MUST!
(For compatibility issues with the structure, textures used are those of the Simpli Garden)
2. Kitchen destructible: There is to much in the game.. 5 to 7 total homes.
(Warnings: If demolished to make space for other, the new build may have some minor bugs with the NPC's interaction)
Notes: Due to its remote location the farm is absolutely unplayable respect other home sites: No good Loot.. No good Outpost.. Zombie evryware!!
Now has two more facilities than Savini & Kirkman: You can enjoy the production of greenhouse and replace the kitchen with whatever you like.. It seems a great deal ;)

RODEO:
1. Change Dining Area in Dojo.. Dining it's useless!
Notes: Nothing to say.. Better use of Fairyground.

WAREHOUSE:
1. Food Storage nerf to normal Storage.
2. Wepons Lab item no more craftable from builtIn Machine Shop!
Notes: Tweked the Warehouse to make it less strongest than other homes.

|The Techs Tree|

  • Unlocks Facilities: Garden, Training Area and Watch Tower must be researched before being built.
  • Facilities Techs: Now every single level after one of any facilities must first be researched... Must have build needs their appropriate expert to be unlocked!!
  • Actions and Craft Techs: Some home action and almost all craft options must first be reserached. (also Otupost Traps :D)
  • Techs Step: The technologies are spilt in Step.. If you do not seek the primary ones you can not unlock the advanced ones.
  • Techs connection: Some tech have 1 or 2 logical connections with others.. (Who knows where it will be ended up the Otupost Traps tech??)
  • Reserach are Expensive: The Teachs remain unlocked permanently along Breakdown levels, so search them will be expensive.. MUCH EXPENSIVE!
  • Warnings: All Techs are hidden until you can search them.. It isn't a bug :D! (Same thing for the actions/facilities/items that unlocks)
  • Warnings: In the Kirkman Residence all workshop teach are connect with BuiltIn workshop.. For search them you must use only him or move in another homesite!! Once unlocked work correctly on any workshop!


|The Craft System|

  • Adds craft snacks and coffe in the Kitchen: Usefull in the first step of the game.. Trust me!!
  • Add craft option on Workshop: Add alchool molotow, improvised suppressor and flare.
  • Add craft option on Weapon Shop: Add incendiary molotow
  • Increase input cost for items crafting: Now craft it's a little more expensive... Loot for wath you need it's allways better!
  • Stealth items: Stealth items reserch and craft are more expensive than others.
  • Medical Expert: Medical expert are required on Medical Lab for craft Strong Stimulant and Painkiller.
  • Craftman and Chemical Expert: Craftman and Chamical experts are required on workshop for craft the best items.
  • Duble Expert: Some items require two different expert to be crafted.
  • Warnings: For a mecchanics of the game one character may not perform two functions in the same RTSAction... Even if he satisfies the requirements to do it! So you need to different NPCs for craft item that require double expert.
  • Warnings: "Craftman Expert post-it" don't desappear even if you have one charcheter with "Arts and Craft" skill. The function work correctly, it's only a interface issue. (I'm trying to fix it)



- INSTALLATION -
For Breakdown Only


Install: Unpack the .Rar file and paste the "Game Folder" in your State of Decay Directory.
Uninstall: Simply delette "Game Folder" in your State of Decay Directory.
New Game required: Going up in a new BD Level may cause Bug!!

Note: I suggest you to make a BACKUP of your Game folder and Save Data before playing ANY mod. You can find your SAVE DATA in the Steam directory: Steam/userdata/*your steam ID*/241540/local (Inside local folder there is yours save)
