since you are an expert on CryEngine, could you advise me / tell me a tool to decompress and compress the .pak files for CryEngine? on the Internet I found programs that only decompress.
Okay, now I'm going to report too. Inspite of that this looka like a good mod I and it seems like everyone else experience some troubles. Like BLOOD, FIRE, BLOAER GASS and other shader-binded things are not displaying. Literally you can not see nothing of stated. : that's a ver, very sad moment. using one of an older Radeon 5560 graffix and maybe that's the problem.. Looks like most of people with problems wit this mod are radeon users. That's really really sad. I would like to see this mod fixed. Thanx!
I love the idea of this mod, but when I installed it, I lost a lot of textures, such as Judge Lawton's hair (which gave her an awesome glowing afro) and all kinds of furniture which made me smack into a lot of invisible objects. I ended up having to uninstall it.
Maybe it's because I had the 2k textures mod and the two didn't play well together?
Ok man, I've got a serious problem with this mod, I downloaded it and installed it as per the instructions on the description page, now my game won't even start, simply tells me that DX11 is required now (Which I've already verified it is installed through dxdiag), and simply refuses to start. What gets me though is that prior to installing this mod I was able to play the game perfectly fine, but now I have no access to it. I've already tried verifying the game cache through steam and it says all files validated ok, so it didn't redownload anything. I've also tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game and even then the issue still persists, it simply tells me that DX11 is required and will not start.
I've tried your uninstall procedure in the readme that came with the download and that did nothing. You need to fix your stuff man, I don't appreciate how it broke my game to the point where I can no longer play it.
you do know that the YOSE has hi-def images and repaked files. Furthermore why dont you look at the last published date, and that might give you a REASON why it is not working.
I couldn't get this mod working correctly with shaders. Some textures were missing, hairs of some characters were pure white and glowing and I had some other visual errors as well. I copied only the config folder which improved the game by a mile. The contrast is still a bit too high but much better in general. Shame I couldn't get the shaders working but it's better than nothing.
I just hit the same problem as you.... if I was to guess its either a material problem for the hair or a texture which has failed to load. As much as I like the mod I'm going to wait till this is sorted out... nobody should have angel hair in an apocalypse.
