I am a complete noob when it comes to installing mods that aren't just straight through Vortex; it's asking me to unpack and select a file for where to install the extension to manage Jedi Survivor. Any help on what to do would be very helpful, I'm so in need of this re-shade!
Sorry I've been away from nexus mods due to health.
You need to install Reshade. There's some videos on YouTube on how to insall it. The file you download use winzip to unpack into a specific file where you want it. Then once reshade is installed, when in-game, open the reshade menu and then find the path to where my file is and double click it :)
Had some issues the first time i tried and then got overwhelmed called it stupid and went away. but i wanted to try again today and used the link from your description to watch a tutorial and i finally understood what i was doing wrong and now my game looks so pretty thank you so much! i will continue to check back for any new updates. definitely will endorse !! <3
I am in the game and have the reshade screen open but idk what to select. I can't find the preset I downloaded. Was I supposed to download it to a specific place or is anywhere alright? sorry this is my first mod I am slow lol
you can usually select the preset while you install ReShade, maybe try installing it again, or put the preset in this folder EA Games\Jedi Survivor\SwGame\Binaries\Win64 so your location of the game.
After that you should be able to select the preset
Very nice ReShade, but I feel your installation instructions may cause confusion so I would like to simplify it.
Instructions as follows: - Install latest version of ReShade. - Select Jedi Survivor's .exe file. - When prompted to select Rendering API, it would be best to pick the DirectX10/11/12 option. - Do not select a preset to install from as that may create issues with said preset. - On the effect packages screen, it's simpler to press the "Check All' button near the top. - Done.
I would also like to add that having your "reshade-shaders" folder placed within the download itself, alongside your preset, would greatly help the usability of this file, since I cannot find a Clarity.FX file online or in the "Files' you mention.
Edit: nevermind, ClarityFX is already available after selecting your preset in-game. Thank you very much.

cause I cant select those dx11 12 13 things
That's the path, though depends on the drive you put it on. C:/D:/E: etc :)
