Description:
The U.S.S Leonov, nicknamed "The Animal" due to its participation in the fierest battles during the Dominion war in a long forgotten backstory, found its origin within Elite Force and specificly the RPG-X modification and was designed as both an inspirator and tech demo. During its original development and release in 2009 and 2010, a lot of RPG-X maps heavily used dead ends or clip brushes in their corridor design and if such map didn't use custom textures, then it was deemed "uncool". The aim of "The Animal" was to let people see what can be done with just the default textures and a continues corridor design that didn't rely on dead ends and clip brushes.

Outline THREE for Jedi Academy is the result of continued development based on the cancelled Release TWO version for the special rpgxEF branch, which is as it stand in December 2016 no longer in development since 2013. This enables the restoration of certain areas which had to be cut from Release ONE, especially with Deck 2.

This outlining release will give players a chance to see how the development of the map is progressing, other then the usual screenshots posted on the webpage. Not all features (notably the func_usable's) have been transfered over to Outline THREE, such as 'Red Alert' since the map experiences some difficulties with that. Other features such as Warp drive and the Holodeck have been fully included.

Off all the Elite Force based maps that have been ported towards Jedi Academy, this one features the heaviest Star Trek design yet its design approach of no dead ends and/or clip brushes remains standing. Therefor the map can be percieved as "odd" because it isn't a regular deathmatch map.
