I can properly play the game now and it looks great with shadows on, amazing. Just one nitpick, during cutscenes I get some awful shadow banding, how would one get around that? Even if it's changing some value in the ini.
nvm it works now, apparently there's an error with game file, verifying game files fixed my issue. Now I can play the game with 50% more faster FPS big thanks to you ma man
but it seems to cause a bug in the head: On Cal the head becomes all white depending on the angles of view
On the other characters, the same thing during the cinematic phase of the quests, only the eyes can be seen... Lol
Edit after graphical bug repair : The game is much more fluid with this mod engaged, while remaining realistic in terms of graphic rendering
Game publishers should stop the arms race on hyper fine frames for 4k 8k 16k textures. It actually serves no purpose in the game except to overload the CPU load, which is already busy enough with other crucial gameplay elements.
In French we say Le Mieux est l'ennemi du Bien "the best is the enemy of the good"
would it be possible to make a version of this which doesnt affect texture quality? since texture quality doesnt seem to affect FPS at all and makes the game look a lot better
